The difference is that the christian conformist republican society rule the western world.

Beeing gay is as natural as breathing, but all of you fundamental wannabies are too stuck up to admit that you are wrong and have been wrong all along, for many generations, so now you use "god" and the "bible" to justify your own actions instead of taking responsibilitiy for them.

Because christianity and politics are more hand-in-hand than a gay couple.

Because we cant change any laws without having gay politicians (Norway does...) and having people come to terms with the fact that they have been wrong.

I think that if your parents and politicians and priests never told you that "beeing gay is wrong" you would never have had such false knowledge. If they stopped believing it today, you to would, because "they say so". If the "bible" magically changed some lines and paragraphs, maybe you would just start accepting that people are gay because "the bible says so". Or maybe not, maybe you would find yet another reason to hate gay people, and justify your own "perfect" and "good" actions.

Lets face it, gay people are here to stay. Someone else on this thread asked what you want the gay people to do. I wonder about that as well. If you want them all to disappear or something, because that is impossible. They would alll have to die, you cant make someone straight. And if you dont want gay and bi people to be alive, then society would just collapse, a huge part of it would be lost, just think about it. There is 10 percent of gay people everywhere. In every job, in every shop, in every school, in every kindergarden, in every family, in every country, everywhere! You see them everyday, because they are just normal people. Some might be in disguise because they are afraid to show theyr "gayness" or whatever, but mostly because beeing gay is perfectly normal and doesnt show on the outside. Because this so called influential culture you are talking about isnt so bad at all, its just many ways of expressing ones diversity, and there are also so many people who just for instance look like a normal feminine straight girl, and might be gay. And you would never know it. Because gay people are part of everything and every culture, present in every field and area of life. Work, school, culture, everything.

If some "priest" or politician told all aspies that they couldnt get married and have kids, what would you do then? (Not that I wanna get married and have kids, its supposed to be an example...)
If aspies couldnt even adopt kids, because "those kids might be embarrased of theyr parents, and teased because theyr parents are aspies"...
What if aspies were beat up because they looked wierd and walk wierd and look like they are on drugs all the time(Thats how I look anyway)
That would really suck wouldnt it?

Guess what, it allready sucks, gay people and aspies are a minority (in percentage, not in a condecending way), therefore we have so much in common and need to stop this discriminating nonsense. Homophobic is just a word, just like aspiephobic could be a word. Lets just hope no one needs to start using it.....

I agree with most of that apart from the adopting thing. If Gays were supposed to raise kids with their partners then they would have the right equiptment. A married Mother and Father has been and will always continue to be the most stable environment for children providing that the aforementioned potential parents are well adjusted themselves.

Also if an Aspies are getting hassle for being themselves then of course the state should take that into consideration and wait until things were more stable before considering placing the child into that person's care.

Im all for human rights but no-one has the right to make a child in care's life harder than it is already. Of course in area's where being Gay is accepted and common like i have heard San Franciso is then i think long term Gay couples should be considered to adopt but first consideration should always be given to a stable married heterosexual couple.

Until said father comes home drunk from happy hour and starts beating said mother and/or said child. Can you prove this theory of yours at all from reliable and non-biased sources? :?

I typed and i quote "providing the aforementioned potential parents are well adjusted themselves" meaning good references and a character and legal check. I think all independant studies has backed up my claim that a Married Mother and Father produce more stable well adjusted children than any other environment on average.

I know this is terribly un pc of me but to say but one thing common about jails all over the world is that the majority of inmates tend to come from broken homes and one-parent families.

You forgot poverty. That plays a huge role, as well.

A child raised by two homosexual parents is neither a broken home, nor a single-parent family. The only way the child would suffer is from being tormented by an intolerant society. That is certainly not a basis to deny adoption rights to homosexual parents. It can happen just as badly with kids of straight parents, from either a whole home, broken home, or single parent family. Much like children with AS, don't you think? Children are cruel, and schools allow it. Reforming the schools is the way to go. Not further discriminating against homosexuals.

Its true that poverty plays a huge role but i never claimed my post was comprehensive in the coverage of why crimes happen.

A child adopted by Gay parents will get hassle from adults as well as children so i stick by my assertion that a straight married couple adopting would be the preffered choice for adopting. So no i dont see adoption as a "right".

A Mother and a Father has been proven to be the healthiest atmosphere for which children to be brought up in and any deviation from that is not condusive to the healthy nuclear family that is to be promoted by the state.

Of course my argument is from a perspective of growing up in a traditional nuclear family. It would be interesting to see how kids raised with single sex parents feel. At the end of the day they are the people who matter most in all of this and the only ones who can tell how sucessful being raised by gay parents and the effects outwith the families control is from their experience.

Live with it. At least I had the decency and self restraint not to post it publicly. This matter concerns nobody else.

You did not have 'self-restraint'' or 'decency' when you sent me that PM. It was cowardly and vile you hoped to hide that from others. I do not want to hear from you again, in any form at all on any subject. Read the rules for particpation in this forum.

Since this thread is a flame war anyway and there's an old saying that a picture is worth a thousand words, so here's a couple more pics of Sodom:

... both pictures being remarkably good evidence for why people shouldn't be gay - it's obvious, innit? erm...

anyway...

postperson - what general abuse?

and tokaia - the ignore button has been removed as it was causing problems with access to the site.
