ZIMMERMAN VERDICT IS IN - NOT GUILTY
Bold. I assume that you have some way of validating that claim, right? Otherwise you wouldn't use the word *fact*, which is not a term used lightly when discussing legal and/or scientific evidence, right?
I have provided multiple examples of Trayvon Martin's character being attacked by gross misrepresentation and/or blatant lies about him in this thread. Other than the MSNBC forgery of the initial 911 call, can you provide similar examples of Zimmerman suffering the same fate?
It's in his interest to stop at the scene of accidents and make sure the press finds out about it. His attorney knows the score even if some here can't do the math. It's his reputation that needs help now. Someone should ask him how many accidents he's stopped at before this happened. I bet he'll break all records this year. Not hard to find them if you drive around looking.
You don't seem to believe a single negative fact about Zimmerman. And you won't allow that Martin had any right to self defense no matter what happened. My dog is less biased toward food.
I know everything you're talking about and most it was blown wildly out of proportion by people with agendas, certainly nothing that can be construed as a 'history of violence'. There has been way more of misrepresentation of Zimmerman than there has been Martin, that's a fact and not an opinion.

You're right helping out kids with parents in prison is not a self-less act. Just as much evidence dug up to dirty Zimmerman's name there is evidence before the incident that also helps his character. Just like someone said earlier he's not going to ignore the incident because the public expects him to help. He is going to do what he believes is right. If that doesn't show good character then I don't know what does.
By the way with the facts presented I don't see how Martin was defending himself. Martin was over the assailant wailing on him. You would think that a person of good judgment in fear of his life would run and not bring fist to a gun fight. So I don't see how Martin was "defending" himself. Also if this was a hate crime things to consider are overkill. Zimmerman got off ONLY one shot and no more which means this was a knee jerk reaction to fear of his life and not some hate crime as the media and liberal public puts it. You sit here and question our math results yet you don't take the time to proof read your own.
It's not all that common to come across an accident where;
- You're one of the first on the scene
- There is an actual need to help
- The emergency services arent already there
I've had it happen once where I could actually be of help.
I don't know why he'd bother at this point. He's already been acquitted and those that are all butthurt about the outcome of the trial are still going to stick pins in their Zimmerman voodoo dolls no matter what he does.

Jesus, this guy just can't win with you people. Would you rather the headline read "George Zimmerman ignores car crash victims to avoid speculations about his 'hero complex'"?
What's he supposed to win? Are you suggesting that he showed good judgement in the Martin incident? I think he has shown himself to have poor judgment in that matter.
The car accident is different, but his desire to involve himself may get him into more trouble - especially if he feels empowered by the verdict.

That depends on his desire to involve himself. Now if the fire dept was already there and Zimmerman still tries to play super hero then I see your point. But that was not the case which still leaves the question does Zimmerman really believe he is Superman?
For a guy who likes to present himself as a dispassionate intellectual type, you seem to be engaging in a lot of "the other monkeys are flinging poo so I'm going to too" behavior lately. It's a tad undignified...
Actually, that was my entire *point*. If people are going to introduce frivolous "evidence", then they should do so symmetrically (not just against Martin, but against Zimmerman as well). I will gladly retreat from any such behaviour against Zimmerman once the Trayvon Martin haters on WP do the same.
And at least I got the facts straight.
Was any of that done by George Zimmerman? Do you normally retaliate against third parties for the actions of other not affiliated with them or otherwise under their control?
Yes, it was.

And his defense team even had to apologize publicly for misrepresenting evidence:

Nonsense, when have I said that Martin had no right to self defense? I don't believe he attacked Martin and there is no evidence to suggest he did. If Zimmerman attacked Martin then he'd be 100% right to defend himself but what he did went beyond just defending himself regardless of what provoked the beating. If Martin was the one screaming for help then he probably wouldn't mounted Zimmerman and started bashing his head into the pavement. All the evidence is consistent with Zimmerman's story, could other things have happened? Maybe but there is no way of determining that and even if they did happen differently, it definitely did not happen the way the most ardent Martin supporters seem to think it did.
What negative facts? I don't believe his 2005 arrest constitutes a history violence, no. If he was guilty of that crime I don't think the charges would of been reduced and later dropped altogether. This is how Zimmerman described the incident in his application to join the Seminole County Sheriff's Office Citizen Law Enforcement Academy(really need a better name)
“I was in an altercation with an undercover officer that was taking part in an ATF sting for underage drinking in UCF. He never told me he was an officer and assaulted me first. Shortly after that, in September 2005, the same unit was conducting a sting at UCF and an officer was killed by an OPD officer because he discharged his weapon and did not identify himself.
“My father is a retired Magistrate Judge for the Supreme Court of Virginia and my mother was a deputy clerk of court for over 20 years. I hold law enforcement officers in the highest regaurd (sic) as I hope to one day become one. I would never have touched a police officer. Prior to and since that I have not been arrested.
Thank you and I hope to join you in January.
George M. Zimmerman.
I remember reading about the incident last year and not said in his statement here was that he was coming to the assistance of an underaged friend that was being accosted by this undercover ATF agent. Knowing what I know about the ATF, I'm inclined to believe this story. They are not agency known for its competency or restraint, ask Vicki Weaver.
He had a restraining order filed against him by his ex-fiancee Veronica Zuazo citing domestic abuse, he filed a restraining order against Zuazo the same day citing domestic abuse as well. Both were granted. Nasty break up but nothing too out of the ordinary IMO, neither were charged or arrested with any crimes AFAIK.
This stuff were the worst things they could dig up to use against Zimmerman that had any credibility and both of these incidents happened years prior in his very early 20s. There is far more evidence in support of his character than against. I do not believe he is a bad person or that he planned or wanted to hurt anybody that night. Believing that he's helping people out of overturned cars in order to make himself look good is deluded on a level I can't even begin to describe and you call me bias?

I read the charges were waived when he agreed to enter an alcohol treatment class or program. Not that he (or you) mentioned that part. Funny how Zimmerman's word is absolute with you. You love him like a five year old loves mommy. Everyone else is lying about him.
It's basic PR and certainly possible. He's no doubt getting a lot of advice about how to restore his tattered reputation. Also, the term is biased.
As for this accident, another man was there too and no one was even hurt. Hardly the Alamo. Ask yourself if the Sanford police would put out a statement about you if you were there. The other man isn't even named.

No. You don't trust the cousin, you don't trust the ATF who arrested him. You don't trust anyone who says anything bad about George. You dismiss them all. And in each case you quote.....George. As if he's the only man with any credibility on this Earth.
I think that speaks for itself.
