I heard there are some Nukerain over there. Better watch out. Anyway, it’s far away and I don’t think we should get into it like the media pushes us to be involved in everything that causes fear. Let go of fear and shut down the TV.

According to the Urban Dictionary . . .

nuke rain
n. Catastrophic bombing or wanton destruction of a helpless opponent in a pointless confrontation.

That is what Putin's war is all about.

Yep....from Putin's perception, Ukraine is a "helpless" opponent.

Subsequent events have proven otherwise, as symbolized by the stamp depicting Ukrainian soldiers giving the "finger" to a Russian naval vessel.

Not from here.

Hey, there are people outside of USA, how could one ever guess? Probably some cave-dwelling wild heathens, anyway, who cares weather they live or die or what choices they want to make, they don't matter, shrug /s

Yeah, that'll fix it...

Maybe a whole load of trouble could have been avoided in 1939 if a certain Austrian gentleman, who invaded Poland to regain "lost" territory and ultimately rule a neighbor to the east, had also been also ignored. /s

December 7, 1941: One of the very first RADAR operators at United States at Naval Station Pearl Harbor near Honolulu, Hawaii ignored a cloud of speckles on his monitor, thinking it was just noise or static.

This is a pretty good breakdown of why Russia's economy is the way it is and how the oligarchs came to be.

Just a reminder: under international law, an occupying power has no right of self-defense, and those who are occupied have the right and duty to liberate themselves by any means possible.

One difference is the Austrian gentleman did not have an overseas cheering section like this guy has. Maybe some here are familiar with the HBO show The Plot Against America in which C. Lindbergh is elected president and the US does nothing to stop that guy.

Well in the US millions including most white people believe Donald Trump is our only legitimate President, and Trump has expressed his support for Putin's agenda loudly and often.

At least we’re sending something/it’s a start. I’d like to see a whole lot more shipped over considering the money and resources we waste on all kinds of less important crap. But at least it’s something.

Marie Yovanovitch says Trump's Helsinki press conference with Putin was so 'disastrous' that she couldn't finish eating her french fries

Quote:
"I watched the infamous Trump-Putin press conference at my Odesa hotel that evening while pecking at room-service french fries," the book says. "I quickly lost my appetite as I saw our president toady up to Putin and take the Russian's word over that of our own intelligence agencies, which assessed that Russia had interfered in the 2016 US presidential election."

Cliffs:

Russian planes fly low and slow, making them prime targets for man operated missiles of all sorts that multiple countries are sending more and more of.. which is awesome. :D
