Why do Catholics not accept Gays into their religion?

well, consider the pope they elected says condoms help spread AIDS, so I am not surprised at other fallacies they spout.

I don't think he'd mind as long as you didn't keep talking about it to his face (not to offend or anything but it's sort of uncomfortable for a guy), then again he might have not been straight, I'm a few thousand years too late to really know. But seing how he liked the humble, you'd have a hard time getting him into that without taking yourself down a few notches. I'm using my perspecive here and no inspiration whatsoever, I mean if you were jerking it to me I'd be as flattered as hell, I just wouldn't shower with you. The catholics don't own Jesus at all, so don't let them convince you that you should be straight.

Ok, Romans (and almost all the other books with place names in the New Testament) were written not by Jesus, but by Paul. Leviticus has the other passage that condemns homosexuality, but it's got a lot of other things (it's mainly a big book of restrictions...

As mentioned earlier, same-sex couples don't make babies, which is what is a big part of the prohibition in the first place. Sex is for babies (remember, they got after Onan too, who 'spilled his seed upon the ground'... A big portion of Catholicism is about the 'be fruitful and multiply', which, unless you have 'Adam and Even' (which is the name of a local sex toys shop...ain't irony ironic?... which is also why they hate abortion (like anyone loves it...but that's a whole 'nuther ball of wax), etc.

Assuming that the Catholic church generally upholds Aquinas on the ejaculation of semen, I would think that they would consider it such.
