Ultraconservatives can't take what they dish out
I dish it and take it
Hanoteaux dished it and took it
Dox47 dishes it and takes it
Iamnotaparakeet dishes it and takes it
Those are just the people I can think of off the top of my head. Conservatives are game for ant debate the liberals are up to, so quit being so self-righteous.
i disagree - many people in PPR have a great deal of difficulty "taking it". as soon as you really argue deeply, with some posters it descends into insults and nastiness.
at times, it seems like people don't understand how to debate... and if you turn that same crud back on them they can't take THAT either.

Well, if you really want a self-fulfilling prophecy made out of your above statements, then I could start criticizing grammar in a nasty manner.

what are you on about this time?
why would you criticize my grammar, unless it was because you could not formulate a coherent argument about the subject at hand?

I would criticize thy grammar to show you how correct you are. As for the lack of formulating coherent arguments, I'll leave that up to you.
you'd be showing me that i am correct by criticizing my grammar? i am correct without your help, but thanks for offering.

You were right the first time. He can't think of a coherent response relevant to the argument.

If there were a coherent argument I'd feel more obliged to provide a coherent response. There is not a coherent argument there, so I feel less obliged to provide a coherent response.
Meh, i have nothing against Metis and Indians, i can't position myself regarding who is right between them and the government... (which causes me slight distress but not enough to keep me from living on) Being in anthropology, i like learning about them, their language and what happens with their affairs. I kind of sympathize with how badly they are being treated. No one likes being a minority and tossed in a corner, or mistreated nor deserves it. (Heck we should know better, look where we are posting. o.O )
This is probably where i am the dissonant voice in my family, mostly in regards with my dad, who finds Indian revendications exasperating. =/ He says they don't want to work, would rather live off welfare... I sure wish i could help them, but education (yeah, it's not perfect but meh ><) would be the only way to save their community, and i wish people would be more just towards them if/when they want to start a business or something... But stereotypes and prejudice are so rampant when it comes to them. ._.
Well, i'm sorry Friskey that you had to hear/read what that person said...
I can't atone for whatever happened in the past (and is likely still happenning) but i can at least try to make things better in the present so that we may have a brighter future...
