I really wish people could hear past all of that spin! The article goes on to make a great point about transparency being a really good thing all around, but there is no law being proposed that says it will be a crime to take or to possess videotapes of factory farming that might harm the commercial interests of the farmer. That law is simply saying it will be a crime to take or to possess videotapes of factory farming unless done with transparency!

That is a persons home and personal space. This is in a sense an invasion or privacy towards humans, but the reality is we are not dealing with just the lives of humans, we are dealing with animals who cannot report violence.


We're talking about animals slated to be on the dinner table.
