Economically, they weren't. That's my point. They had a mixture of often socialist-derived economics with a racist agenda.
It depends how you define 'left' and 'right' I suppose. It's not just a case of 'left' and 'right'. There's also 'up' and 'down' - authority v liberty to consider.
So, yes, I would consider the Nazis to be left-wing economically with a totalitarian social policy. Is that difficult to understand?
