That's a fairly healthy view IMO. I'd have to say I don't hate anyone though, because hate steals your energy. However I do admire and revere people like Gary Sinise for example. I'd rather spend my energy lifting those people who are already great a little higher.

I don't hate anyone based on class period. I don't believe power corrupts but that the corrupt seek power. Ok maybe power does corrupt to an extent but it definitely doesn't make people go 180 on their values. I'm not saying only corrupt people seek wealth, but that corruption manifests according to their position of power. Poor greedy folks tend to be drug dealers while rich greedy folks tend to be embezzlers. It's not a difference in character but a difference in style.

As for rich folks not paying their dues that they supposedly "owe" to the lower classes, that's their money that they earned and they have the free will to spend it as they wish. As long as they're not avoiding their taxes then that's fine. Woah did I just contradict myself? Nope, other than taxes they are free to spend as they wish. That's just a compromise between individual freedom and collective security.

Huh? That's actually pretty cynical. A more charitable view would be scapegoating external things for one's inherently corrupt nature. That way there's something else to blame it on. Oh no I'm not an a**hole who thinks pimping is acceptable, I'm just a product of my environment which turns good people bad rather than simply giving bad people more opportunities to be bad.
