Even raptors need affection.

There is a "satanic verses" style controversy with the book of mormon but it's not really discussed very often. Apparently Joseph Smith put his face up to his stovepipe hat to translate a verse and then cried out, "Hufflepuff".

To this day the elders don't know what he meant.

There is a magic hat in Harry Potter that tells the kids which House they will go to. Hufflepuff, Gryffindor... that's all I remember.

Actually, it would only have been the dead male mormons who were converted, since Judaism's circumcision procedure only applies to males.

All of the dead Jewish women who converted postumously to Mormonism are just going to have to remain Mormon. All of the dead male Jews got to convert back to Judaism, as did all male Mormons.

So, the Mormon Heaven is now filled with ladies, and the Jewish Heaven is filled with circumcised gents.

I wonder if they'll be able to get together for an occasional celestial orgy?

I just noticed something: you call them the Ladder Day Saints. Was that a joke? If not, then what day is Ladder Day? Does Home Depot have Ladder Day sales?

I figured it was just a typo. But when it comes to the actual Ladder Day Saint movement, I am not supportive of their "replace all stairs, ramps and elevators with ladders" theology and doctrine. They can try to weasel around it but it is clearly discriminatory towards those without arms, hands and/or feet

What do *I* think about it? Well...I don't believe it is a Christian sect, for one.

While I do disagree with LDS doctrine, most Mormons I've ever met were really nice to me. My impression of Mormon people is that they are very, VERY strange people, and being somewhat an odd duck myself I somehow have gotten along really well with the Mormons where I live. And part of that might be that here Mormons are in the vast minority. I've noticed around here they tend to take over whatever public community activities happen to be available because kids in other churches are too busy in church-related activities to do things like theater, etc.

Now that I think about it, I bet I could make a killing if I asked some LDS friends to put some flyers up in their church advertising my services...

Anyway...

I've only had one negative experience with a Mormon lady. LDS folk, at least the ones I've ever known, are a lot nicer than most other people.

I find the girls to be quite attractive, also. Can't exactly explain it...

Good point, indeed. Maybe some of them are trying to obscure their motives by substituting "Latter" for "Ladder." Or, should that be later?
