I don't trust any farther than I can throw him.
He probably would mandate the teaching
of Scientific Creationism if he got anywhere
near the Presidency; he's that conservative.

He would certainly mix the church into the state. Politicians work this way, frequently, in order to make big steps, they do it an inch at a time so nobody really notices. Santorum was bold to say something like that, but I guarantee there will be bolder statements by him and future theocrat politicians, and with careful media manipulation more people will be nodding their heads as time goes on

Santorum doesn't scare the cr*p out of me. I don't take him too seriously but he does know a few bare facts about the world.

Sarah Palin scared the absolute cr*p out of me.

What if Santorum wins the nomination because none of them have enough deligates then it goes to popular vote or something like that....then the republicans pull a Bush Jr and mess with the votes in the general election...and we get Santorum for prez

If, Heaven Forfend, that reactionary is elected, the nation is in for a 4 year combined headache and stomach ache. And he just might get us into a war we don't really need and can't afford to fight.

I wonder if Santorum is really an American, as some of his beliefs fit in with the beliefs of some people from Northern Ireland, while his desire to ban abortion and contraception is like what that Romanian dictator that got shot in 1989 did in the 1960s.

Santorum won both southern states. That's something. Polls had him running 3rd in both. For some reason his support is routinely under polled.

So next he's going to win Missouri and this race is going on and on and on.

Santorum is trailing Romney by 212 "hard pledged" delegates according to The Green Papers, so while the Southern primaries are a bit of a surprise, he's definitely not catching up to him with any sort of alacrity.

One thing's for sure, though. I am really starting to regret switching my affiliation to Republican just to be able to vote in my state's closed primaries.
