I have a theory that aspies tend to be more socially liberal because we are not as easily swayed by meaningless emotional appeals, which is what social conservatism relies on. I guess it makes sense that Asperger's or a person's experience with it can influence a person's political views. For example, the main reason I dislike authoritarianism and big government is that as a kid, I didn't really conform to others' expectations, and therefore, I always had problems with authority. I eventually learned to control my rebellious tendencies (trust me, I'm not a criminal or anything), but my early experiences have always stuck with me.

I'm very strongly Libertarian with a huge focus on personal rights, removal of pointless criminal charges and a focus on idea in classical liberalism that rights are things that cannot be taken away by others, rather than the modern liberal idea that they are things that others should be forced to give you. I am also economically liberal, as I despise exploitation by business and very strongly believe in consumer rights and activism. Especially with the European horse meat scandal recently, this view has been gradually reinforced over time due to my coeliac disease as I've seen so many products which don't need it bulked out with all sorts of crap, ranging from harmless(to most people, not me) stuff like gluten to outright disgusting rubbish, as is described in this article: http://www.cracked.com/article_15982_5- ... =companion

I am surprised you are even in the square.

If they had a third dimension to measure how much one accepts the zero sum premise, I would have no trouble locating your position. The extreme lower left octant.

Updated.

The names are becoming increasingly difficult to read. However, the graph does give a preliminary picture of the collective political observations of PPR posters...

Fear not!

I took the liberty of posting the politically correct position of Raptor, which is of course the exact opposite of ArrantPariah...
