Conservative christians are devil worshippers
I think the vast majority of Christians are inadvertently Devil Worshippers.
They worship a god who was born on December 25th.
Now that will be Nimrod who became Tammuz the Sun god or Saturn, ultimately the Devil.
They hold a fertility rite with eggs and bunnies called Easter that was Nimrods Mother who was deified as said fertility goddess.
Their sacred sign is the "T" which they call the cross but can be seen predating Christ as it was the sacred "T" of the aforementioned Tammuz.
They worship a Trinity just as all pagan religions do that once again stems back to the Sun god Tammuz who killed his Father and married his own mother becoming his own Father.
The only people that had first hand dealings with God where the Jews, just ask one of them if God is a Trinity.
No wonder Jesus warned of "the Great Apostasy" that would come before his return, and that he would have to say to many "Christians" get away from me you workers of Lawlessness, I never knew you, and why the road to life is narrow and cramped and few are the ones finding it.
Of course this is what the Devil, who seeks to deceive the entire inhabited world would do, he doesnt want anybody to worship God or Jesus, he wants everyone to worship him, so of course he is going to hold a mask that looks like Jesus in front of his face so everybody bows down to him.
If you really were a Devil worshiper you would do evil deeds,I think the Wesrboros Baptist are pure evil, how else could you picket someone's funeral, terrorizing and upsetting whole families.
I don't imagine Jesus would do that,so of it's not of Jesus,it must be Satan.

I think Phelps just has a mental illness of sorts, and the rest of the family just doesn't know one could lead a life differently.
I was just making an attempt to use their dogma against them.If your works are not good, than they must be of the devil,or something along those lines.I don't see anything good about them, they would be taking food to the bereaved instead of tormenting them.

I like the idea that with the immense freedom granted to humans, they could commit some atrocious acts without any supernatural interference including ones that, indeed, the devils would find repulsive.
Did you intentionally move the goalposts, or do you just not realize it when you do it? You were criticizing other people for basing their values on a work of fiction, which I pointed out was hypocritical in light of your own Christianity, and you respond by trying to argue the relative merits of the two belief systems, which is irrelevant to the point at hand.

I beg to differ. If Ayn Rand's works had advocated loving your neighbors and your enemies, and charity for the poor rather than promoting selfishness and contempt for the needy, then they too would be of worth, fiction or not.

You still don't get it... I DON'T CARE about the the relative worth of Ayn Rand vs the Bible, as far as I'm concerned they're both just books, remember what I was responding to?
You were specifically criticizing objectivists for something you yourself do, again, the relative merits of the work being completely irrelevant. Also, I very much doubt that anyone thinks Atlas Shrugged is anything other than fiction, you're simply allowing your own prejudices to color reality, again, something you like to accuse other people of doing while turning a blind eye to yourself and your allies.

Believe it or not, the Christian faith would still exist even without the Holy book, as difficult as that may be to imagine.
Evidence, please?
Evidence, please?
All these years before what is now known as the New Testament was complete? It's such a simple thought experiment though. Omit the Scripture including all the Gospels out of the picture and the people would still be aware of the same important things, hold the same rites and live the same lives, just accessing this information differently.

There are actually plenty of people who absolutely believe every word and syllable of Rand's fiction, or rather, the philosophy behind it.
And one man's fiction is another man's Gospel.

Such utter T-wording.
http://www.atlassociety.org/objectivism
Rand was a passionate individualist. She wrote in praise of "the men of unborrowed vision," who live by the judgment of their own minds, willing to stand alone against tradition and popular opinion.
Her philosophy of Objectivism rejects the ethics of self-sacrifice and renunciation. She urged men to hold themselves and their lives as their highest values, and to live by the code of the free individual:....
...Millions of readers have been inspired by the vision of life in Ayn Rand's novels. Scholars are exploring the trails she blazed in philosophy and other fields. Her principled defense of capitalism has drawn new adherents to the cause of economic and political liberty.
"Mere fiction" indeed. Apparently, millions of fools have been inspired by her nonsense.
Evidence, please?

During the dark ages when the Catholic Church was rather dominant in Europe, the Bible was actually hidden from the people in that it was written in Latin which ordinary folk didnt read, when people did translate it and try to read it, they were apt to be burned alive if caught so would study it in secret.
The Bible does tend to condemn especially the Catholic church, fortunately for religions of man, few read it and are happy to pay professionals to tell them their version of Christianity.
Having their ears tickled I think is how the Bible describes such.
And one man's fiction is another man's Gospel.
Again, do you not realize it when you move the goalposts, or do you think I simply won't notice? Believing in fiction and believing in the philosophy behind fiction are very different things, and you clearly said the former, and only twisted to the later when I called you on it. Further, you still can't criticize someone for believing in the philosophy behind fiction, as you do so yourself by your own admission, which you try to deflect with arguments about the relative merits of the fictions and their philosophies.
So I guess at this point the question really is: are you merely a hypocrite, or a dishonest one as well?
