I don' think so.

-No wall will ever be built.
-Trump is already being accused of wavering on his earlier promises of curtailing h1b immigrant programs
-millions of Mexicans won't be "kicked out"
-he will fail at making a bigger Obamacare
-he will fail at his tax cuts
-he will fail at huge tariffs

If Trump can't do then no one can, we should declare America a banana republic and get it over with. Time for secession, this country is much too large anyways.

You're very silly if you think Trump's positions are way more unrealistic than free college, welfare for all, $15 minimum wage, reparations, and endless 'humanitarian' wars for democracy. Trump will be able to work with Democrats and Republicans as well as have the bully pulpit to make his case straight the American people to achieve his goals, what have Bernie Sanders or Hillary Clinton actually achieved in Washington in all the decades they've been there?

Like I said, I really like the idea of someone like Jim Webb as VP because that is a bipartisan ticket with bipartisan appeal. Maybe not to the monied interests but they are the ones who has been driving this country into the ground to begin with but rather to the silent majority of this country. Trump has a good relationship with Harry Reid already, it's not like these people don't know Trump or have any relations with him as he's been involved in the political process for decades now. Trump can win the union vote, if Hillary is the Democratic candidate then I wouldn't be surprised to see the leadership of a few of these unions endorse Trump.

I wonder what the numerical odds are of a brokered convention? or in a percentage chance, I wonder if it is <50%?

I'd say less than 50%

Trump just threatened riots, etc if he's not nominated. More trumpism if you don't do what i want, i'll have a violent tantrum..and more "subtle" encouragement of followers to do so.

The bottom line is though, without the delegates, he's not guaranteed. And, the votes have been clear that less than half of republicans want him. (And despite his eternal boasting, clearly many republicans do Not want him, and a vast majority of dems and independents don't either). The 'idea' of him is great.. Enough business as usual same old s**t. But -he- is a disaster. Unfortunately, it seems a chunk of people are locked on that idea and not getting past it to see -him-.

I think kasich should stay in despite splitting any votes.. The further west, the better his odds and it gives the many an alternative to cruz. And then, fine, if trump wants to throw a tantrum, kasich can run as a third party. That gives the many repubs/ind who don't want trump, someone to vote *for*.
And, though in the end, it likely gives the nomination to hillary, i think there are enough gop big shots and independents who see that 4 years of hillary followed by a good gop candidate deeply pales in risk to the country and world stability than any years of trump.

And, then trump will have another fit and claim rigged ballots and the media, etc etc
