If it wasn’t for government aid I may have got involved with gangs. My brother did criminal stuff. I was also lucky to be born in the northwest instead of day the bad side of Chicago. Do you not think a lot blacks come from poor single parent family’s who live in poor parts of cities which have access to bad education and are more influenced by gangs? But it’s not only blacks. Lots of whites are in similar situations and also end up in gangs. But especially in the south I imagine as a remnants of the confederacy and the civil rights violations all through the 60s and 70s a lot of blacks are in bad neighborhoods. It’s by far a situational thing. Most white criminal are also from bad parts of town and poor family’s. They make prime targets for gangs. Join our gang your make millions of dollars and be a big powerful person. In reality they just pawns that die or go to jail for the gang leader.
I’m glad I lucked out I am naive. I was especially naive and easily exploited as a kid. I’d been a prime target for gangs. But Oregon doesn’t have many gangs. Blacks from well off areas and families don’t get involved with gangs and crime.
I wonder if we have as many gangs with universal income.

Of course poverty is a big cause of crime. I just want to know if Powell thinks minority crime is due to nature or nurture.
I think universal income is a great and wise step for America to make. That's why I fear it will never happen.

Culture is the problem as well as welfare. Promoting black gang culture is also a terrible problem.

Poverty is part of it yeah. Arresting people for crimes isn't brutality.

But arresting and harassing - and worse - anyone out of suspicion of criminality simply for the color of their skin is.

By 2050 whites will very likely be a minority in the US, as in collectively outnumbered. If you and others like you are still alive by then, I'm wondering what you will do.

If the left wins, RVA will be living in an America in which corruption is illegal, the government no longer spies on its citizens, all Americans have access to free healthcare and people who are different can live together harmoniously.

RVA thinks that such a world can never exist, but he's wrong. The left will make his life easier ...though he doesn't know it yet.

'Tolerance' as only tolerating certain views. And 'diversity' as less white people. Can't white people be 'diverse'?

Thing is, Obamacare was most certainly not free health care for everybody. I don't think that what most Americans think of as the liberal left would really qualify as such to most of the rest of the Western world. All Americans in politics are in the Millionare club. If they were not, they simply couldn't get elected. Obama may not have been a 1%er, but he was most certainly a 2%er. America will sadly never have the kind of free health care that Canada and the UK have. Its a country of, by and for the 1%ers, and this has always been the case.

My point is that the US is becoming more diverse, and there is nothing RVA and others like him can do to stop it. His lily white America will cease to exist by the end of the century. Build a wall at the Mexican border? What nonsense. Even Trump knows this wont work and or cant be built. He just offered it up as an empty promise to secure the votes of white racists. And the Republicans don't really want to keep Mexican illegals out anyway. Why? Because American agriculture has always been dependent on slave labor in one form or another, and Republicans represent the states in need of it.

By tolerance I mean accepting people as they are, and not as others imagine them to be. As autistics we should be in favor of this. And yes, less white people, certainly a smaller percentage, as in below 50. It will happen, and that is a fact.

I'll try to keep the more authoritarian sections of the left in check.

Yes, white people can be diverse. We have always been diverse.

Will diversity lead to less white people? No. White people are choosing to have fewer kids. That's their choice. It's not like white people will be sent to gas chambers or anything.

Don't tell me what I "should" be in favor of. I am in favor of freedom of expression. Where's the calls for 'diversity' in African and Asian countries?
