Excuse me Bro, but since it didnt occur to already I'd like to point out that the OP did NOT mention a DAMN thing about the Holocaust!
There's a REASON for that as it most certainly Is a very sensitive topic; especially for those with family members affeacted by it. But for cryin out loud, there's MUCH MORE to Judaica and being Jewish than than Holocaust! THAT is really what I was seeking to bring out with the OP. Now JerryHatake, being outraged over trivial remarks about the Holocaust is TOTALLY justified given your family history. But I had no idea that Joo was anything other than a phonetic (mis)pelling of the word Jew. I really hate the idea of Groups thinking that they have a right to say certain things about Their little club and others who arent part of that group should not be allowed to say it. I am NOT talking about pejorative slurs(if I had said "where are the kikes?" well then that would be grounds for outrage)or insults but moreso what twoshots was talking about: that "only jews have the right to tell jewish jokes". I really Hate Political Correctness and beyond WP its good to see that many Jewish Americans arent buying into it anymore. Maybe the NeoCon movement has encouraged them not to play the 'whiny victim' card anymore.

I don't think I have Jewish descendants that I know of but I like Fiddler on the Roof. 
BTW, the title comes bluntly off as Anti-simetic. Probably why people are aren't taking this topic well. I'm not antiSimetic as I appreciate how industrious Jewish communities have done to contribute and gain while in the face of hardships and labors when you really look at it from a historical perspective. Every culture, people, and country have a positive and negative aspect.
However, I do think it is ironic to see there are a lot of threads within this forum that derogate, deride, and misguide peoples of a certain culture, race, country, and religion yet I don't really see major reactions as this one. Again, I think because of the damaging title. The only difference is other posts slowly derail off the original topics that aren't exactly what you would call deragatory to a certain group of people. So in a since I think you're right and you're wrong dinko.
