Slander against me and my unemployment

It's like, why don't some people have more of a spine? I just like to argue, but if people really want to take that personally it's their IQ in question.
But if you argue too much, it can become tiresome for a lot of people and a point of antagonism.

How does/would/could IQ play into that?

I don't mean that literally. People's intelligence is often secondary to their willingness to use their intelligence.

True enough. The person I'm arguing with wasn't the one who had removed me though. However, it's usually not. It seems though that some people assume argumentation is evil in and of itself and is therefore grounds for personal excommunication. Whatever though, I think I prefer arguing on forums like this where there is no option to delete people. I mean seriously, in a heated debate people will get angry at each other, it just happens, and later people cool down from being angry. However, when the option exists to just delete someone and cut communication with them, the more easily offended and less patient will often take the easy way out rather than waiting for things to cool down.

Sorry, that's my fault. I should have made it more clear that I was joking around. Marked traveling money late at night is always dangerous. Just recently here, a pizza driver was blinded with a cup of bleach and robbed by someone....and all they took was the pizza.
No harm no foul, if I can't determine intent on a post than I just respond at face value. I actually had wanted to paint a little clearer picture of what my old job was like, so that actually worked out well for me. Typical Aspie thing, it never really struck me how odd my job experience was until I worked in other jobs and people would look at me like I was nuts when I'd tell them stories about my old job. Delivery is a fun and low stress job that actually can pay pretty well, but also can be dangerous, it usually ranks in the top 10 most dangerous jobs; stories like you mentioned are unfortunately common.

I drove a cab at night and was told I could not carry ... but we all know some of my passengers did, and one of them even once left a 9MM laying on my back seat.

I know. My best friend worked for Domino's and he'd keep his gun with him when he had to work late. Just a little good-natured ribbing because Seattle always comes off like a techno-liberal-hippie kind of place rather than here where there's a history of holding the "murder capital" title. The reality, of course, is that poverty and crime is everywhere that there is a city big enough to allow it (which isn't that big).

Technically, I was never "allowed" to carry either, but I just did it anyway. My thinking always went that my life was more important than my job, and that if I got fired for defending myself, that was OK. What's infuriating is that the "big 3" delivery companies usually won't allow high crime neighborhoods to be excluded from delivery zones (they get accused of "racism" when they do that), then won't even allow their drivers to carry pepper spray because they're so concerned about the liability. As much disagree with them, I can at least understand the rationale behind not allowing employees to carry guns, but denying them any means of defense because it might cost the company money isn't kosher to me. My solution would be to make them liable for wrongful death or injury if their employee is harmed due to being defenseless by company policy, losing a few of those judgments would probably make them change their tune.
