As a species, we're motivated entirely by self-interest; any kindness or sincerity are theatrics. That human beings could waste their money and patience to get their hands on a child to cover for their insecurities is pathetic.

Why some kids want to have puppies? I doubt it's because they are altruistic. Never been interested in having pets and having kids myself, I don't get why people want to have them, specially since they always give trouble. People are weird.

Actual evidence as opposed to raw "biologicist" prejudice, perhaps?

Hmm if the collective are treating like a human being loved like a human being being cared for and protected by other human beings then I don't see why one can not be adopted into a collective.

It would be more human because the collective would be one big family.

The birth mother didn't want the child in the first place if she gave it up for adoption why would she be adopted into the collective.

The birth Mother did not want the responsibility of caring for the child. Since the collective shares the responsibility the burden becomes light.

True but would you want anything to do with your birth mother had she given you up for adoption?

You would be required to love everyone in the collective.
