I live on the other side of the atlantic and even I am well aware of the American South and its synonymity with religious nutbaggery.

xenon13 and thomas81, what kind of military training have you had?

I was in the Air Cadets and failed my Royal Air Force medical.

I probably have about 10 hours flying time in military aircraft under my belt and I have an Air Training Corps marksman badge.

Well, if people are going to make judgements about the actions of a sniper on a battlefield, I just want to make sure that they know what they are talking about.

and as ive already said his personal credentials and military portfolio are of no significance or interest to me. Nor do i have any interest entering a military dick waving contest.

He was at worst a stooge for an imperialist oil grabbing war machine and at best a naive kid who got duped into risking his life for an unjust cause.

im wondering too

snypers save lives by stratigicly taking out important targets like generals,colonials and taking out crucial military and poitical personel.which can cripple an army before a battle.without the snyper every battle would be up close with full auto machine guns where many die.

This act of justice that took place must always be praised. This thoroughly evil man the likes of which are destroying the American people is dead. Look at what's going on in Los Angeles and you'll see a massive pathology over there and the likes of this serial killer epitomises it perfectly. Good riddance to bad rubbish. He said violence does solve things; how right he is, he has been solved!

His meeting with Ariman would be quite interesting.

As for me, I see him as neutral; part of the benevolent occupying force.

Some people he shot were probably bad people, some were probably just defending their 'hood from an occupying force; he'd be doing the same thing if the roles were reversed. He'd just be called "Juba" then.

I googled it and the only time the term "serial killer" came up associated with his name were just peaceniks adding their comments to various news topics. This is pertty much what I expected.
That doesn't make him a serial killer. It does make him a very effective sniper and a patriotic American otherwise the peaceniks wouldn't have their drawers in knots over him.
