But was any of that compilation drawn from my former posts?

This one comes to mind.

Most (not all) of the really angry ones have left.

I don't think any amount wealth redistribution can recover all the time spent performing non-autonomous labour, or the environmental devastation that will lead to mass extinction.

I had to spice it up with a more typical angry liberal reply. Your actual reply agreed with me 8O and I was certain that you'd regret that later so I fixed it for you. :D

Why would liberals be against American made products?I'd pay a few bucks extra for a quality item.Sometimes that's not what you get,I bought a sharp shooter shovel made here, and when I was using it,it bent, now that is BS,what kind of inferior metal was that,I've never had a shovel bend when digging. :?
At least Kraichgauer and I drive American made products.

I don't exactly get what you mean by non-autonomous labor, but why is it a problem if you get more for your work than you would get working for yourself?

Capitalism with restraints on pollution (e. g. in the form of Pigou taxes) would still work better than socialism with pollution restricted to the same level.

I don't have a problem with people working together in free association. I have a problem with hierarchical structures of command and obedience.

How would a politician in favour of Pigou taxes succeed? The ruling class would run a smear campaign, and people would lose jobs, which is bad news, because people depend on wages for necessities within capitalism. The market creates a need for BS jobs, which is bad for the environment.

We should separate what's the ideal system and what can be achieved. The question how Pigou taxes would succeed matter in the latter discussion. But in the same manner, how would abolishing capitalism succeed?

With Pigou taxes people typically wouldn't lose jobs (though they would need to change jobs in some cases). Real wages would decrease a little, as a consequence of that it is more difficult to produce goods with less pollution.

Politicians have to work with the system, and the system has growth imperatives attatched to it. How can a politician change this reality?

Then why not introduce Pigou taxes with revolt? (Assuming that capitalism with Pigou taxes on pollution would work well. Of course there may be other arguments against capitalism, but the environmental one is incorrect in my opinion. Also, I think that on the short term limiting pollution would be as bad for ordinary people as for capital owners, so they wouldn't support such limits in any economic system.)

I don't think green policy would affect a decentrally planned economy as much as a capitalist one. Research would be revolutionized, because scientists would have all their needs taken care of. In capitalism, these people would rely on monetary investments. Green economic development in this type of economic system would be practical. I just can't see any sort of green capitalism coming about in the future.
