the only way to deal with such mean minds is vigilance and a willingness to fight back however one can. those people are beyond reasoning with.

When it comes to WWII Nazi Germany, not all of them were reprogrammable. Regular German men that were forced into the war could usually be reprogrammed successfully. However many of the hard core SS officers never changed their minds or behaviors. Once captured, they would still show their dark side in internment camps with their fellow countrymen. I have an old book about the Nebraska/Kansas internment camps that specifically talk about this issue. They could hide it, but they really never changed their ways in private. Argentina was a haven for the Nazis that escaped because they aligned with the dictatorship principles ruling at the time in South America.

It is sad to see us spiral downward toward the edge as a country. I have to deal with non-sense behavior by both friends and family members who still support Trump as a president. My own mother is one of them. She will never claim that Biden will be president, because in her mind Trump will still be the one in charge. At what point do you just give up hope in changing them?

I'm not sure.

It doesn't mean we should start a circle jerk over fantasies of murdering them.

nobody said to murder them, but we have to keep them separate from the rest of society somehow, we can't let terrorists do to us what they will.

Just copied this text & 2 links from a comment on an article about trump taking no responsibility for what happened after his speech. (Claiming that analysts told him his speech was totally appropriate.. :roll: ) Anyways, this is all a weeee but concerning:

If the US government were to treat these terrorists like terrorists it would likely result in civil war, which is already the goal these terrorists are after. Because this would cause many members of the military to question if they are violating their oath, I wouldn't count on maintaining control of the military in this scenario.

From what i know, only 10% of Nazis were tried while the rest fled to South America. Few stayed and changed their identities but were caught because they got recognized by their former victims so they were reported and they lost their jobs and licenses to practice. The last Nazi Germany Nazi died in 2003.

The crap thing about being a cop or soldier rn isn’t just that you might have to put down a domestic terrorist and have to live with killing someone, but you Also have to worry about who amongst your own ranks is a trump supporter - not exactly the type of coworker you can trust your life with rn.. :/

I don't condone advocating violence against the MAGA insurrectionists.

By doing so, we are descending to their level. And it's a loooooooooong way up from there.

And unlike Trump - who may be able to shield himself and his personal cronies from legal accountability - quite a few of these people will likely end up doing quite a lot of time behind bars. Not a lot of extenuating circumstances, here...

Storm government buildings and attempt to overthrow the US gov’t, kidnap/kill lawmakers etc = if you catch a bullet between the eyes it’s a game of hardball you signed up for.

If you wanna hangout peacefully on the bleachers and display placards of deplorable nonsense, ok, have at it all you want.

But jump in the game & start throwing pitches? Don’t be surprised when someone hits a line drive right through the back of your head.

Georgia's state Capitol in Atlanta has already seen protests that raised security concerns. Last week, Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger was helped out of the Capitol as a precaution as a small group of pro-Trump protesters gathered outside, according to CNN affiliate WXIA.
The state began its 2021 legislative session on Monday with heightened security around the building, including a new fence and armed guards.
The Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) said it is aware of the reports of possible armed protests in the coming days.
