No more than the President being responsible for the economy.

...attempt to push Creationism into science classrooms while simultaneously claiming that it is faith, not science, when pressed with it's implausibility.

Conservatives are the nazis, liberals are the commies. As for "socialist", it is just terminology, sometimes it can very in it's definition from one country to the next. Look at Australian political terminology and then American political terminology. Plus it being a whole different time period, I tend not to take a label so seriously unless there is a logical reason to do so.

In politics, right-wing, left wing are terms used in the spectrum of left-right politics, it has a broad variety of definitions.

However, it is generally used to refer to the segments of the political spectrum often associated with any of several strains of Conservatism, Traditionalism, Fascism, Totalitarianism, Monarchism, Right-libertarianism, Corporatism, the Religious Right, Nationalism, Militarism, Producerism, Nativism, or simply Reactionism for the sake of being the opposite of left-wing politics.

The term originates from the French Revolution, when liberal deputies from the Third Estate generally sat to the left of the president's chair, a habit which began in the Estates General of 1789. The nobility, members of the Second Estate, generally sat to the right. In the successive legislative assemblies, monarchists who supported the Ancien Régime were commonly referred to as rightists because they sat on the right side. It is still the tradition in the French National Assembly for the representatives to be seated left-to-right (relative to the Assembly president) according to their political alignment.

As this original reference became obsolete, the meaning of the term has changed as appropriate to the spectrum of ideas and stances being compared, and the point of view of the speaker.

You use the terms "red state" and "blue state" in almost every sentence that comes out of your mouth.

You agree that vetoing a health care bill for children is a good thing

You sided with the Patriot Act and now b!t&h every time you have to show 12 different forms of I.D. at the DMV just to renew your license

you believe Illegal Immigrants are a danger, and Labor Unions fighting to keep wages up are as well.

you think Islam is a religion of terror.

you bought a domestic for its fuel economy.

you complain about the economy while voting against a minimum-wage increase.

you voted for George W. Bush...both times.
