Schizophrenia has been around for a very long time. In many cultures they are revered and work as shamans, artists, or musicians. Here they are considered insane and often are unable to fit into our society.

I've been researching hallucinations for a while now because I was once confused by my own. Now, I'm much better at analyzing the symbolism and it's very empowering to be able to shift consciousness and no longer find it confusing.

Anyways good luck to you and your wife. I'm done here.

CLUE: Hallucinations do NOT necessairly mean Schitzophrenia. Schitzophrenia does not necessairly manifest in Hallucinations.

Try learning somthing more about what you spew than what the latest California Fad has to offer.

Schizophrenia is categorized more for its disorganized thought patterns than hallucinations and delusions.

Right, I was going to point out that there are many classifications of schizophrenia which don't fit the popular version (which bears closest resemblance to paranoid type). A catatonic wouldn't be useful to anyone.

"Schizophrenia" means shattered mind, or something like that. The sort of schizophrenia that I've been dealing with since I was 13 (when I had my first symptoms) is a paranoid, delusional kind with the occasional hallucinations. Even though I do have disorganized thoughts detached from reality, it's not like I'm totally incapacitated from ever thinking rationally. The mind is very mysterious sometimes.
