Does anyone else agree with feminism?
Thanks for busting the stereotype that lesbians 'hate men'. However, I think you're projecting. Lesbian feminists are 'safe' to you because they have no attraction to you and don't really try to influence the power dynamics of straight relationships. Feminists that still have heterosexual relationships are more of a threat. Or they are more threatened by you. It could go both ways.
If I'm wrong, please give me some examples of what you mean by 'practising what they preach'.
It's not that they're 'safe' to me, it's that I'm 'safe' to them. Homosexuals in general see the opposite sex as peers and don't size them up the way heteros do. In short, lesbians aren't judgemental of me the way straight women are and are able to take me at face value.
I have gay men and women friends that accept me at face value also I know lesbiens that find some guys hot but have no sexual attraction to them the same with gay men with me im omisexual I do not base my sexual attractions based on whats between some ones legs I like the person which is all that matters to me.
So basically you're bisexual. I honestly wonder why some guys are so well liked by NT women and others(like me) generally aren't. What infuriates me is how women profile men in a fashion analogous to how police profile people who belong to certain groups.........EVEN IF said people did nothing wrong.
If someone tries to keep you down and degrade your gender be it male or female true logic and facts conquer all. We are all human beings. I am a man and proud of it but I do not degrade women or be rate them doing so, in my honest opinion, a true man has honer and respect for women. In contrast a true woman has honor and respect for men and as an equal not as something higher or lower.

I live in a country where equal rights are part of the law of the land, the result of it being that;
A: Gender domination inside sectors have had small changes at best and are still dominated by the sex that originally dominated them.
B: Women are increasingly demanding that they be compensated for not picking power and higher incomes.
OK women have had it bad in the past, but hasn't the war been won? Most women probably do not think so. The war will be won when they have complete dominance. Now me, I take the view that most men are frightened of women, and that isn't just a recent thing. That is why they feel the need to put women in subjection.
Simone de Beavoir may well have been a good, responsible woman, but then the extremists who followed her worried me. By the way I read that Germaine Greer later acknowledged much of her Feminist belief as a mistake.

I am nor have I ever been afriad of women I am pretty much in love with women as a whole most of my friends are women and my family is dominated by women.
To say that women want complete dominance is nonsense women what to be treated the same as a man and have gender equality women always get the bad rap from men when they dont like a certin guy that happens to like her then she is being a b***h.
I have a male and female type personality and male and female tendencies some days I dress like a guy or a girl when I go to bed I get my nails and toe nails done and go to the gym and work out.
I am Bigender I express a distinctly "en femme" persona and a distinctly "en homme" persona.
Im am one of the lucky ones because I do not have a lack of confidence when talking to women or getting to know them because of my Bigender personality.
I was asked in another thread about the reason for my dislike of feminism. Didn't want to derail that thread, so I'm putting my full response here.
I'm so ashamed.
Why?
not to derail the thread, but I am of the belief that modern feminism has gone beyond it's original intention of promoting equality. It ignores the facts in order to espouse the view that all women are victims, and that all men are oppressors. From what I've seen, nowadays it only serves to divide the genders against each other rather than promote understanding.
I've never oppressed anyone. I believe that women are the equal of men in every way. But I am tired of being treated like the enemy because I was born with a penis.
I said that feminism ignores facts, here are some examples:
Women do earn, on average, about 75% of what men earn. However, it is always claimed that that is for the same work. That is simply not the case. It does not take into account the fact that more women than men do not work outside the home. Men earn more because men work more hours. In fact, women who do work make more per hour than men.

Then there is the part where women make 80% of spending decisions.

Women are presented as having less educational opportunities than men. Not true.

Women are often presented as being more likely to be violently victimized. Again, not the case.

Men also make up the vast majority of prison inmates and the homeless population.

I don't know about anyone else but, to me, these statistics don't exactly support the idea of men as a privileged class.

Feminism claims nothing, save that sex inequalities are unjustifiable.

Actually, most women do not want to be treated the same as men and if you as a man treat a woman as though she were another men, she is not going to appreciate it! I know this from years of personal experience. I was taught that men and women are basically the same, so went around treating the opposite sex more or less the same way I treated members of my own sex..........And it really made them resent me. Gender equality means both sexes are equally valued and respected. It does NOT mean that they are identical and have the exact same needs and wants.
That's actually socialism, not feminism per se.
Even though the 2 are often intertwined.
Hey VW,
Is it "sexist" or a "blanket generalization" for me to point out that most people on Earth think that male birds are prettier than female birds??? Also, thanks for not acknowledging the point I made about gay men in the female beauty industry(who DO appreciate womens looks, even though they prefer to shag men instead).

You've not met "most women", nor even a significant percentage, nor even most of a significant percentage.
If someone treated me as a sex, as opposed to a person, I'd be pretty ticked.
You know what they say about opinions...

A generalization, while it can be made hastily, is usually based on some notion that the sample pool is representative of the larger one,
and quite honestly,
I haven't seen too many large-scale surveys on opinions of bird plumage to think it remotely-related to the issue at hand.
Likewise, sorry I missed the "point" about "gay men in the beauty industry", though I'm sure it didn't in any way refute the realities of which sex holds the most power, and therefore the continuing relevance of feminism, that being the topic.

My comment about gay men in the beauty industry was not about which sex has more power, it was a response to your sarcastic remark about not everyone in this world being straight or male when I posited that women are more attractive in their appearance than men. You obviously don't know much about art; cuz if you did you'd understand and acknowledge that beauty is not equivalent to sex appeal.
Furthermore, I do not rely on statistics when it comes to how I behave towards people IRL. I rely partly on what I've been taught, partly on a newfound understanding of motives and social rules, and partly on experience as to what works and what doesn't. I have neither the time, nor the interest in doing any surveys about how random women want to be treated. People are individuals, but their behavior is exceedingly regular and follows discernible patterns. And ironically, there is plenty of statistical evidence to back this up.
