Try.

The best way to keep a court from having its say is to make the matter moot. Democrats have enough power that if they wanted Obamacare gone lest they risk the Supreme Court ruling against it, they could rally the numbers to repeal it very quickly.

The Democrats don't expect the law to be overturned. They certainly are not going to repeal it- after spending nearly two years on a hard-fought political battle to pass it, they aren't going to repeal it. That's just not how humans work. You are assuming a monumental level of Machiavellian cynicism for which there simply is no evidence. If the Democrats really were so duplicitous and hell-bent on power as you seem to believe, they would have done a better job of gaining power unless they were completely ret*d.

And how would Obama not veto repeal? The author of that absurd article believes that a refusal to veto the bill would kill Obama's re-election chances? In what world? Signing a repeal of the PPACA would not win Obama a single right-winger's vote, but it would definitely cost him millions of left-wing votes. The one thing Obama could do that would absolutely guarantee he would be a one-term President is repealing the PPACA.

And that's only one example of the insanity in the article. The author simply does not live in this reality. He rivals Inuyasha in sheer partisan stupidity.

The only way the Supreme Court would not repeal this is if one of the Conservative Justices or the swing vote suddenly dies. Are you implying that the Conservative members need extra security?

At least the author and myself are rational.

Yes, Inuyasha, that's exactly what I'm implying. Obama is going to do a good old-fashioned Hawaii Mafia hit on Antonin Scalia.

That's a funny way of spelling "batshit crazy."

Uh, try the Chicago Mob. I don't think Obama would go that far, because of what would happen if he got caught.

It's funny that you're that bad at recognizing sarcasm. Even for an autistic, that's pretty bad.

I know you were being sarcastic, however I'm saying that it is in reality a possibility. Chicago is one of the most corrupt cities in the United States (more corrupt than Washington DC) and Obama is a veteran of Chicago Politics and part of the Chicago machine.

The Saul Alinski tactis don't work anymore, conservatives and independents see it for what it is. The American people have had it with the arrogance of liberal Democrats, as long as Republicans don't royally screw up (and it doesn't look like they are going to at the moment), I don't think the Democrats will have a majority in the House of Representatives for the next couple of decades. You tick someone off enough and they aren't just going to forgive and forget.

lol. This is a great quote of yours because you follow up some paranoia about Saul Alinski tactics with:

An assertion that it's possible that Obama would hire the Chicago mob to kill a SC justice to presumably defend health care.

As I said:

I guess the republicans are just into the wishful, insane assumption that their congress victory was because of the health care reform and not because of say, the economy or the major lack of promise fulfillment like ending the wars. In their insane heads, they really think that more than 50% of Americans are greatly offended by the health care law.

@ simon_says

Chicago is known for extremely corrupt politics that make people in DC look like Mother Teresa, I kid you not.

Ever heard of the phrase: "Vote early and vote often."

That is from Chicago where you have dead people apparently rising from their graves and voting in every election.

Obama is a product of that style of politics, so he actually knows how to play dirty.

Heck Even the Huffington Post acknowledges the dirty politics in Illinois

What your suggesting here has no basis in fact. The implication you are making in regard to the livelyhood of the justices, doesn't seem sarcastic, and is a rather serious one since you are involving the president in the implication. Are you being sarcastic or are you really implying that this could happen?

Jacoby, you're wrong here. Quit cheapening the term "fascism" when you clearly don't understand what it means. (Hint: "Fascism" is not a synonym for "policies with which I disagree")
