Trump thinks Obama is out to destroy the American Economy.
That said I will be looking at his changes in positions to see if he decides to change back to his original postions. There are people that will change positions on topics based on new information.
Furthermore, it is a mistake to dismiss what the man is saying out of hand, the man is not stupid, and has the money to actually pay people to investigate things for him. Could be his investigators have found something of interest.
He hasn't just flipped on Obama. THAT I would understand. Or one or two policy points. Nor has he said he's still a mix of views, just now feeling a different party is more representative of where he thinks the nation may need to go. Any of the above I can totally respect. Insread, he's flipped on a whole list of major issues, with no single theme to it other than "now I want to sound like a conversative Republican."
He doesn't know anything special. He's making what could be read as a clear and unequivocal pander play. The question is why.

I wouldn't dismiss Trump out of hand, especially over the birther thing, while I believe Obama was born in Hawaii, that doesn't mean Trump may have found something to indicate otherwise or has found something else tangential to this that is a cause of serious concern.
Of all the things Trump is, it would be a mistake to dismiss him as stupid. The guy was one of the few that thought something was fishy with the banks and didn't get caught in the financial meltdown.
If that's the case than Democrats are full of radioactive toxic waste like any good Democrat candidate.

Who says I like the Democrats? But your blind support of Trump based on his support of your garbage party makes me question your moral fiber. But whatever, the enemy of your enemy is your friend, right? Even if he is a total scumbag who doesn't give a s**t about anything other then his image and making as much cash as possible. Trump has no class or ethics

It could also be a genuine change, if he starts changing his positions every few weeks then we know it is a pander play, if not then it was a genuine change.

I have never met anyone who made a genuine change on that extensive a menu. People don't flip on EVERYTHING; they just don't. Not impossible, but I would be extremely surprised.
My instincts are screaming out pretty loud: something is up, don't take it at face value.
And history suggests that I've got GOOD instincts.
Lol, I know that last isn't going to be convincing to anyone on this board, but still ...

Better than that dingbat, what's-her-name? The goofy woman who didn't even finish a term as Alaska's governor. The one who did that video for Hustler. I'm sure you know who I'm talking about. That crotchety old guy with the anger issues chose her to run for VP. God, what was her name?

Why do you think I am not supporting Trump and consider Romney about as sleezy as a used car salesman...
This is why I want Palin (because she would scare congress into balancing the budget) or Newt (whom actually balanced the budget) to be the nominee for the Republicans.

And they plan to reach the white house by exploiting people's fears and hatred of ethnic and religious minorities. And yes, Muslim, gay and Latino Americans are just that - Americans - and shouldn't be used to illicit the basest emotions of their fellow citizens. Palin doesn't have a brain in her head, but Gingrich, being an intellectual, has always known better - but does it anyway.

What part of illegal do you not understand, they broke our laws entering the country, then many of them have been using fake IDs which is another violation of the law. If someone came into the country legally and lives here legally because they actually followed the law, I have no problem with them. I do have a problem with people breaking the law, one which is also essential to this country's sovereignty.

Nope, however a good portion of the illegal immigrants in the US are latino. Furthermore, I have an aunt that is hispanic and a US Citizen, so the accusation is way out of line.
