I've taken a backseat on this topic, but this I have to disagree with. Americans benevolent? Ironic...

But this takes the biscuit barrel:

No, because i had a change of political conscience and no longer care for intruding in foreign lands where my presence is neither constructive or desired by the indigenous population.

Not true, I make one and very pronunced exception of the allied intervention in WW2. That was the west's last just war.

This person wrote a book bragging about his general inhumanity in order to make money and then goes and starts a kind of paramilitary force to serve as mercenaries again to make money off death and openly promoted militarising society and essentially building dystopia. Kyle represents everything that's going to Hell about the US and the world in general and his death deserves to be celebrated.

That doesn't make him a serial killer. It does make him a very effective sniper and a patriotic American otherwise the peaceniks wouldn't have their drawers in knots over him.

The literal definition of serial killer is someone who kills in a series. This is exactly what he did, he confessed to it in those memoirs designed to help him profit off the blood of others... perhaps ghoul is another word, or vampire...

Do you have any evidence that the body count in Iraq would be lower without the actions of Chris Kyle?

Apart from several well known incidents, it appears that the occupation of Iraq by the US was benevolent rather than malevolent -- the same for the UK's role in said occupation.

Why would I be mad? Idiots publicly proclaiming their own idiocy for everyone to see saves me the trouble of doing it; notice that I haven't bothered to post any further arguments in this thread.

You responded to this, didnt you?

Except it was fishy as hell and they kept changing their motives and the goalposts of the conditions of victory. First in Iraq it was to destroy WMD. Then when the world found out they were lying through their teeth it was to liberate Iraq from the Ba'ath party. Then they did it again in Afghanistan. First it was Bin Laden, when they couldnt find him it was suddenly about the taliban. When a nation cant be honest about its motives around something as awful and serious as starting a war, then the benevolence or malevalence of said action seems a secondary concern at best.

It would certainly have been higher on the coalition side,.

Not necessarilly. If more American troops had died at the start of the war it might have pushed the government to pack up and wrap up instead of prolonging the war.

Iraq wasn't in a position to put up that level of resistance- especially with the conscript units' eagerness to desert or surrender.

neither was the Viet Cong, if we apply the same stretch of logic, but somehow they managed it.

I don't think that Eddie Routh is going to get a fair trial. After all, he is accused essentially of deicide. They already are going all capital murder when all signs point to second degree murder at the most. When a god falls someone must pay. What a sick society.

WBBC as in Westboro Baptits Church?
They are not southern based if that’s who your talking about.

Really?
A few pages ago YOU said:

No mention there about growing a conscience.
Hmmm, did you become a conscientious objector after or before flunking your RAF medical exam?
I’m guessing after.
Kind of makes it a sour grapes thing, eh?

Yeah, you’d be speaking German if it weren’t for US intervention in that one.
