I'm still a virgin, and I think the reason why is because I'm a demisexual. The only real people I want to have sex with are people I have a strong connection to most of the time.

Agreed. I don't want either of those things. Give me the option to jack into the matrix and have simulated sex with my favorite fictional characters, and I'll take it over having real sex.

i am reminded of a cartoon i saw way back when, showing a wedding night scene of nekked man and wife on the bed, the man's willy had a scared look on its "head" and said to the man, "NOOOOO!! you can't make me go in there! it's dark and wet in there!" frankly, if it wasn't for abundant youthful testosterone back in my salad days, my willy would have said the same thing to me. so mebbe it is a matter of deficient testosterone in at least some of the young men who would choose celibacy?
