I could say a lot about the French, as they had instigated the whole Franco-German conflict from the start, causing mass immigration from the Rhine Valley to America - Pennsylvania Dutch - and to Russia - Volga Germans, and Black Sea Germans, that last being specifically my and my wife's people. But I won't - because the French of today are hardly responsible for France's long ago imperialistic advancements into the Rhineland - and French Americans and Canadians absolutely shouldn't be held guilty for that. No more than the Irish should hold a grudge against the English.
So don't go slamming my romantic attachment to old Germany. I already know the Germans have done bad things in their time, but that's no reason for you to go around saying pride in a German heritage makes you want to puke.

If you speak in general enough terms anything can be said. I'll go slamming away at your racial pride in being German if you think it actually matters. What one's ancestors have done is not what an individual descendant or cousin has done, but if you wish to take pride in only the good that your ancestors and closer cousins have done then I will bring up the bad which your closer cousins have done. Claim pride in your German ancestry all you like, but it still makes me want to puke and if you don't want to hear that from me then don't bring it up in response to me. I will not respond to a thread you make if you so wish to express all the wonderful qualities of Germanhood, but if you wish to keep arguing about how I should respond to Ubermensch-Lite I will keep telling you my feelings about Ubermensch-Lite.

on a side note, if the europeans don't like israel, then why did they treat the jews like s**t for so many years? they were pretty much thrown out of europe.

As a matter of fact, I can understand your outrage, as I've been jousting with this parakeet cretin for far too long off subject, concerning how I'm supposed to live in shame of being of German extraction.
May Israel have a long and happy life(!), and not have to give up a single inch of land, unless they choose to do it out of the goodness of their hearts out of pity for the Palestinian poor.

Look Bill, I don't care where you're from but having pride in the accomplishments of ones ancestors is stupid. The only accomplishments one should really be proud of are those that one accomplishes on their own. But if you glory in your heritage, then don't be surprised if people also don't like the negative accomplishments related to your heritage. And you cretinous wretch who would boast in being related to a people, I could also boast in being related to royalty and aristocracy dating back for more than a millennium upon my mother's side - but what good is boasting in something which one cannot select?

Russia and the United States ought to return Antarctica to the penguins as well. Also, amends ought to be made for the actions of Sir Francis Drake against the Penguin Empire.
