Is that what you think God's Kingdom will bring to humans? Would you like to know what some of the blessings His kingdom will bring?

Sadness and pain will be gone. Death will be removed from the human condition.
(Revelation 21:4) He will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore.
(1 Corinthians 15:26) As the last enemy, death is to be brought to nothing.
(Revelation 20:14) And death and Ha′des were hurled into the lake of fire. This means the second death, the lake of fire.

Handicapped people will walk again.
(Isaiah 35:6) The lame one will climb up just as a stag does.

The blind will see again.
(Isaiah 35:5) The eyes of the blind ones will be opened.

People will be brought back to life.
(John 5:28, 29) All those in the memorial tombs will . . . come out.

Sickness is done away with.
(Isaiah 33:24) No resident will say: ‘I am sick.’

No more starvation! The deserts will become fertile paradises.
(Psalm 72:16) There will come to be plenty of grain on the earth.
(Isaiah 35:1-2) The wilderness and the waterless region will exult, and the desert plain will be joyful and blossom as the saffron.
(Psalm 67:6) The earth itself will certainly give its produce; God, our God, will bless us.

People will live in true peace.
(Psalm 37:11) But the meek ones themselves will possess the earth, And they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace.
(Psalm 46:8-9) Come, YOU people, behold the activities of Jehovah, How he has set astonishing events on the earth. He is making wars to cease to the extremity of the earth. The bow he breaks apart and does cut the spear in pieces; The wagons he burns in the fire.

Peace between animals and peace between animals and humans.
(Isaiah 11:6-9) And the wolf will actually reside for a while with the male lamb, and with the kid the leopard itself will lie down, and the calf and the maned young lion and the well-fed animal all together; and a mere little boy will be leader over them. And the cow and the bear themselves will feed; together their young ones will lie down. And even the lion will eat straw just like the bull. And the sucking child will certainly play upon the hole of the cobra; and upon the light aperture of a poisonous snake will a weaned child actually put his own hand. They will not do any harm or cause any ruin in all my holy mountain; because the earth will certainly be filled with the knowledge of Jehovah as the waters are covering the very sea.
(Isaiah 65:25) “The wolf and the lamb themselves will feed as one, and the lion will eat straw just like the bull; and as for the serpent, his food will be dust. They will do no harm nor cause any ruin in all my holy mountain,” Jehovah has said.

People will live in true security.
(Isaiah 32:18) And my people must dwell in a peaceful abiding place and in residences of full confidence and in undisturbed resting-places.

People will own their own land, home and vineyard.
(Isaiah 65:21-22) And they will certainly build houses and have occupancy; and they will certainly plant vineyards and eat [their] fruitage. They will not build and someone else have occupancy; they will not plant and someone else do the eating. For like the days of a tree will the days of my people be; and the work of their own hands my chosen ones will use to the full.

There are more scriptures...

I don't know about you but life under God's Kingdom sounds wonderful! :)

When God runs against Obama or Bachmann or Palin it seems likely He will gain a good many votes but from what I have seen of His actions in the historical sections of the Bible I retain qualms.

(Matthew 13:10-15) So the disciples came up and said to him (Jesus): “Why is it you speak to them by the use of illustrations?” In reply he said: “To YOU it is granted to understand the sacred secrets of the kingdom of the heavens, but to those people it is not granted. For whoever has, more will be given him and he will be made to abound; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken from him. This is why I speak to them by the use of illustrations, because, looking, they look in vain, and hearing, they hear in vain, neither do they get the sense of it; and toward them the prophecy of Isaiah is having fulfillment, which says, ‘By hearing, YOU will hear but by no means get the sense of it; and, looking, YOU will look but by no means see. For the heart of this people has grown unreceptive, and with their ears they have heard without response, and they have shut their eyes; that they might never see with their eyes and hear with their ears and get the sense of it with their hearts and turn back, and I heal them.’

Jesus warned in the last day this would happen on a world wide scale. Even with all the evidence, signs, scriptures... people simply do not get the sense of any of it. I really feel sorry for you. I wish I could reason with you to help you see for just one moment. But you have God given free will. You can choose to do whatever you wish. Jehovah doesn't operate on forced worship. "let anyone that wishes take life’s water free." (Revelation 22:17)

Dominate meant to take care of the animals completely, not brutalize them. In the beginning they didn't fear man, but they were in subjection to man like pets. Adam was given the task of caring for all the animals. (Genesis 1:26) He even had the privilege of naming them. (Genesis 2:19-20) When the new system arrives one of the tasks we'll be assigned to do is care for the animals, like Adam.

How? by regurgitating the fantastical collected writings of a bunch of ancient superstitious scribes and continuing the ludicrous claims that these writings are the directly dictated words of God? Lifting passages from the Bible proves absolutely nothing, it in no way provides evidence of an afterlife, let alone a supreme creator. All it shows is the continued ability for human delusion and cognitive dissonance.

Let me be open with you. I am not trying to disparage you or attacking you in any way. This is merely my view of what you are, a diagnosis. I consider you totally deluded and whatever rational potential that your mind might have had initially appears to have been totally incapacitated. I see this as a mental illness. It is no more an insult than if I detect in you malaria, chicken pox, or cancer. I find it unfortunate but even you must realize we cannot have any kind sensible discourse. I'm sorry.

No problem. You're entitled to your opinion about my mental health, and I don't hate you for it. I hope one day your mind and heart is opened to what the Bible contains.

And in turn, I hope you might someday regain your senses. You seem a very decent person hoping fo some sort of religious utopia and I could only wish that were possible. It does not seem to me to be so.

I guess it really comes down to faith. Of faith I like the way GOD'S WORD translates Hebrews 11:1 "Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see." But as 2 Thessalonians 3:2 states "faith is not a possession of all people". Not everyone is going to have faith. I have a lot of faith in the future based on my personal study of the Bible... but that's me.

Anyhow thank you for being cordial.

I have had many discussions with religious people and never having had any religious beliefs the things professed by religious people have always appeared to be to be extravagantly fantastic and irrational. When I was kid of about four I was confident that as I grew up the people around me would come to their senses and see the world as I see it. This never happened and at times I became emotionally upset that the world was so deeply deluded. I gradually came to the realization that religious people are almost entirely divorced from rational thought and were unreachable through that route.

In general, it appears to me that the real problems of the world have to be attacked through observation and understanding and experiment and these approaches have, throughout history and currently, been greatly successful in attaining real control of the world and its problems. But we have just started in this area and in only a couple of centuries great progress has been made. Waiting for God or some supernatural force to save us never has worked and it doesn't look likely it ever will. Humans must grasp the world as we see it and deal with it. That we have a long way to go I do not doubt but the pathway seems clear and it is a race against ignorance and greed and stupidity. Whether we win is still very much in doubt.

When you're a kid any excuse for a party with cake and candy and popcorn is worth celebrating, My enthusiasm for cake and candy is somewhat less these days and each birthday indicates a year less to live. The event doesn't excite me anymore.

Helping people is fine motivation.

But look you, if people in fact have questions about God all they need do is ask the source. Many of the questions all they need do is look at a pretty available book.

What should concern you is that most people do NOT have questions about God. I certainly did not. Profound ignorance - such as my ignorance of the traditional culture of the Moksha - does not imply questions. Serious misinformation - like my lack of awareness in the 60s that Aramaic is still a living language - does not imply questions.
