What is a "strong" republican? Is that like Arnold Scwartzwnegger?

If you mean neocons, the actual ideologues are only a small % of the party. The base of the GOP's views are a lot closer to Ron Paul than you think. No Republican has the guts to take Ron on with economic issues. They'll try to scare folks into a war frenzy with Iran and then go after Ron on social issues. Then you just have the outright smears that have been thrown at him lately. These guys can't talk about anything in substance.

Ron appeals to independents, civil libertarian/anti-war democrats, Old Right conservatives, as well as republicans who have just plain had enough with the good ole boys in the party. A heck of a lot more than just 3% of the country.

With the legalization of prostitution Ron Paul is rapidly losing the religious right vote.

Philosophically he probably thinks it should be legalized but it's not like he's advocating for that on a federal level. That's completely a state issue AFAIK.

But yea, I don't know why creeps like Dick Morris hate Ron Paul if this is the case.

He was so much of a creepy perv that he got kicked out of the Clinton administration. That if anything is impressive.

Dick has been one of the guys freaking out about Ron Paul that most, saying that Ron Paul is the most radical leftist to run for the Presidency in 50 years. :lol:
