do people here think lsd should remain illegal?

It should be legal AND used to help people, both in a spiritual and medical context.

I dare anyone to watch the next video and still argue that LSD is bad for you... or me... or anyone out there

When you say spiritual, I do not think you are thinking about the dark sides of spirituality such a cult, and government mind control programs. There are many recorded instances from the 60's and 70's of cults using it to brainwash members, as there are of government doing so (MKULTRA). If you make lsd legal again, you make it available as medicine, but you also remove legal barriers to its misuse.

My view is that if you take lsd you're potentially handing your volition over to these people.

LSD can't mind control. It can make people more open to suggestion, but no more or less than a drunk person. The real danger in LSD and mushrooms is in prolonged use. Neither are deadly or have any medical problem, except that the brain is an ever evolving organ, synapses wire, break, and rewire depending on the needs of the organ itself. Research on LSD and mushrooms have been illegal since the mid-sixties in most western nations, so there's little research about the effects-- and most research is now over forty years old. That being said, I have a feeling long term use of said drugs rewires the brain in ways that are not conducive to "everyday" life-- I've seen my fair share of long term "trippers" and they're not normal, not even by autistic standards are they "normal".

I think that it should be legalised for the reason that it's illegality has not hindered peopl from using it at all. If it is legalised, it would probably stop other more noxious compounds such as PCP and MDPV from being sold as LSD. --Either that, or we can legalise the growth of Hawaiin Blue Woodrose/ Heavenly Blue Morning Glory for the self manufacture of it's chemical analogues Lysergic Acid Amine/ LSA and Lysergic Acid Hydroxyethylamine/LAH/LSH.
