Satan was rather unique from the other angels. His rank, power, and beauty far surpassed the other angels, though, this introduced a major problem. I still ponder this, but this is when sin was forming within Satan in the form of pride. When pride becomes a main priority, it then starts to cloud your intelligence. Satan then thought up an idea of how Heaven should run and wanted to take over. Using his supreme cunning skills, he convinced a third of the angels to join his cause.

Now, if God had just outright destroyed Satan right there, then there would be a problem. The angels would then outright fear God, as they would believe God did it because God felt challenged by the idea. Thus, God would not receive genuine worship of respect, but rather of fear. War was fought, and they were cast from Heaven, landed here, and you know the rest.

Because the Earth belongs to Satan, he then commenced the plan he thought of. Now, we won't have to wait that much longer, because his plan is nearly complete. What we deal with now is some of it, not the whole dish. Thus, now every angel can see for their self how Satan's plan worked out. (Not well...)

As to why Satan was even spawned to begin with, well... there was freewill with what happened with Satan. As for the prophecies, that will require a P.M. to not hijack the topic.

Here's a prophecy for you, Matthew 7 verse 6

I know what is to come. (Basically being called crazy.) But I can honestly say I tried. Or do you mean something else?

I do not believe in any of this stuff. However, mythically speaking, Satan was God's favorite being.God then told Satan to serve us hominids. Satan felt like a rejected lover and rebelled.*
Mythically speaking, do you know what Satan's greatest torment is? When being cast out of heaven, he heard God's angry voice and knew that (God's voice is beautiful even when angry ) that he will never hear that voice again!
In our modern world that sounds homosexual. The ancients did not see it that way. They were not gay (some were ) but physical attraction was not the point behind the story. Their point was spiritual love, not physical love.
* Especially since we hominids are incredibly stupid and shallow!

Bezeone can you not see just how absurd all this is. As I said above try and read the bible from a modern perspective and seriously challenge yourself to determine if by any rational thought the bible can be shown not to be man made.

No, dont mean anything beyond the demonstrated fulfillment of the prophecy of the verse.

Wittgenstein, is that Islamic teachings you are introducing here?
Where did you get such from?

That is not a prophecy that is simply a way of saying "continue to believe from a position of ignorance, do not discuss holy things with unbelievers lest they show you how f*****g stupid it is"

Sure, Nambo. Hide behind those verses and continue to wallow in the muddy pool of ignorance.

There is a big price you're paying for clinging to such foolishness, and you don't even realize it.

I don't think so. I think because of different perspectives and worldviews, people will interpret evidence differently. Some might look at the universe and see pointlessness, while others will see order and beauty. There are many great scientists and philosophers who interpreted the evidence from the universe (as well as other sources) as pointing to God, like John Polkinghorne and Alvin Plantiga. So I guess it really depends on how you see things, but from my perspective and from many others, it is quite reasonable to believe in God, even if no one can prove it with absolute certainty.

Missed opportunity there Tally. You could have banned him from posting, thus proving yourself more powerful than Allah.

He can't. Allah Almighty is hindering him from doing so.

I don't believe, and I'm also living well. That makes us even.
