Just the text of the emails shows a criminal conspiracy to violate federal election law. The words indicate a broad knowledge within the campaign of the Russian position and efforts regarding the election, and seeking out something of great value from the Russian government. If a good prosecutor had only these emails, they would be off to a fine start, and Mueller has a boatload of such prosecutors.

Ask an experienced secretary how often three executives rearrange their schedules multiple times to have a meeting with some nobody.

It's much worse than I thought. The emails refer to Russian efforts to elect Trump like it's a widely known fact.

He really wanted to get damaging info about a political opponent from a Russian government lawyer, as they refer to her in the emails.

Oh, people on the Trump band wagon will find a way convince themselves that their orange messiah, and his boss, Putin, are being wronged by the left.

The RT takes care of that of course

This situation to me is something of substance, at last. Somewhat flaky substance, but it is something. And it's something not good.

A lot of these things remind me of the song about the there was an old lady who swallowed a fly song. There was a music promoter connected to a pop star connected to a businessman connected Russian lawyer connected to info against Clinton which lead to a talk about adoption..... You can't make this s**t up as they say.

But at long last there's something of substance, rather than the customary speculation based on innuendo and anonymous sources type crap that's usually presented.

I had no doubt that where there's smoke, there's fire.

Actually they've been seeing smoke where there's been no fire for months. And if this is the actual fire, meh. In this situation one side is going over dramatize things while the other side down plays it.

But the problem I see with this for the other side is they're going to get too carried away go overboard and end up sounding kooky as usual. I hope not. I hope it's adressed in a calm sober way for a change, but I doubt it.

But the investigation isn't done yet. There very well may be something to go overboard about.

Video obtained by CNN shows DJT meeting with Rob Goldstone, and Aras and Emin Agalarov. Trump brags through the entire tape, naturally. There's nothing incriminating here, but he can't deny knowing them.

But they've been going overboard on a continual basis since Nov 9th. And I don't see any merit in going overboard period. People went overboard over Comey testifying; this is it, this is huge, this is what will finally destroy Trump, it's impeachment time on and on. And that's just one of many examples where they went overboard with all the hyperbole.

You've repeatedly said you think the other side has gone overboard, but your opinion never seems to change with new information.

That's because in my opinion people have repeatedly gone overboard bananas frootloops regarding every single piece of new information.

And as usual you're going after me personally, rather than addressing the opinion itself. Would you like me to send you some pics of myself so you can build a shrine?

If people were going overboard because of this, it's only because Russian involvement with Trump was never a well kept secret.

If I said that you smell bad, that would be a personal attack. My post only addresses your comments here.

Kushner and DJT2 can plead ignorance, but Manafort has had enough experience to know better.

Whatever the trigger, people acting bananas is still people acting bananas.

Ignorence of the law does not matter-for anyone

But, does a criminal conspiracy require mens rea?

But acting bananas is hardly just a liberal thing. There are plenty of conservatives who are fanatic about Obama being born in Kenya. He wasn't - Trump eventually even said Obama was born in America, but only after misleading millions of gullible, and just plain stupid people into believing that about Obama. Then again, the real reason of what got all those conservatives fired up is that Obama is a black man, and were ready to see him disqualified as President for any reason.

It's not clear if the FBI will charge a sitting president with a crime. The Republicans have out up with a lot from DJT. Unless they get hosed in the midterms, they get to decide if articles of impeachment can advance.

The way I see it, Putin won this round and weakened the US for a few years or longer. Some people in DC will have to choose whether to let a bunch of people go to jail and create a temporary crisis of confidence, our to sweep as much as possible under the rug and help the low baseline level of confidence in the system get even lower.

I would rather see a powerless Trump as pres than Pence, I think.

You have a long documented history of making constant disparaging and often provoking comments about me personally, rather than sticking to the position that I am maintaining. That's a fact.

And this is the umpteenth time I have had to point out that fact.
