You are correct in that, the bit you quoted refers to priests though which is what I was getting at.

Getting back to the actual OP, I'm still waiting to hear where The Bible says homosexuality is a sin and I know I'll continue to wait. However people will continue to make threads stating The Bible is against homosexuality because for some reason being ignorant is acceptable to many people. Not what I expect from a collection of people who are supposedly in possession of "above average intelligence".

Autistic people don't have above-average intelligence.

Low-hanging fruit: Leviticus 18:22.

Aside from the hilarity of Leviticus 18:21, Leviticus 18 is basically a long lecture on sexual ethics. It's unambiguous.

Now you can argue that this needs to be recontextualised as part of a broader message of love and acceptance, but all the same, the Bible contains a strong condemnation of men having sex with men.

So technically it's only gay MEN that God has a problem with and lesbians are OK?

That's because God is a jock douchebag.

He's only okay with girl-on-girl action if he can watch.

It's a lot more that men (and even more so at that time) have a hard time conceiving of sexuality that doesn't exist for their benefit and interests or on their terms. The idea of women wanting sex or pursuing sex or interacting with sexuality in anyway that wasn't imposed upon them was unthinkably radical for the Israelites, Greeks and all the other classical era patriarchal barbarians.

Usually only after they had hit society over the head with the fact they were correct, and often after much ostracism - sometimes even only after they've passed away. Socrates, Jesus and Mani can all attest to this.

1 Timothy
8But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully; 9Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, 10For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine; 11According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

That sounds like a rant to me.

Sounds like the writer really was pissed off about something.

The OP has still provided no evidence for his claims that priests are prevented from preaching about homosexuality in Australia and Canada. Has no one else noticed this?

Typical pattern for OP; starts a topic pushing some alt-reich talking point, argument gets deconstructed and he scampers off only to start the process all over again with some other alt-reich talking points.

I didn't realize it was an established pattern. That's disappointing but not surprising, it seems to be a common tactic on that side of the political spectrum. They seem to always be claiming "Fake news!" while propagating made up stories themselves.

All those old prophets were grumpy.Maybe hemorrhoids?
1 Samuel 6:4 Darby version
Then they said, What is the trespass-offering which we shall return to him? And they said, Five golden hemorrhoids, and five golden mice, the number of the lords of the Philistines; for one plague is upon them all, and upon your lords.

... but doesn't it FEEL like the world is secretly run by godless gay neckbeards?

Doesn't it FEEL like Christians are a persecuted, underprivileged underclass?

Facts are gay things that are made by neckbearded nerds who can't get laid because they are too nice.

Atheists and gays need to check their privilege!

Well, I'm fully convinced of the truthiness of your claims. I mean, I think you're utterly out to lunch, but I feel you've uncovered who's the go between coordinating the campaign by the Illuminati and Lizardmen to turn the frogs gay and impose the illegal immigrant Islamo-atheist Communazi Barrack Obama on us.

The "sin" of Onan prevented any sexual release.

I'm actually finding it reassuring that this ridiculous and unfounded thread is being thoroughly flamed, as it should be. Maybe there is hope for this place after all.
