There are far more anti women threads on WP lately than there are anti men. I don’t like either of these things. If we have a bad experience with the opposite gender, we should be able to talk about that experience without making sweeping generalizations about the entire male or female population.

Looking at the last few pages, on average, I think we have to get better at handling off-topic posts - especially if they lead to controversy in already delicate threads.

I don't know if there are any forum rules to prevent that from happening and if I my guess is correct, that it's too niche an issue to be in forum rules, we have to make up the difference by judiciously ignoring derailing or red-meat posts.

There are some sensitive subjects that people should resolve; unfortunately, even the merest mention of them is like a siren-call to trolls.

Men have issues, and those issues do matter, especially to men. But this is a sensitive matter, being presented by people who have probably been verbally or physically abused for even suggesting that all men experience common issues, and that those issues put men at a disadvantage. Perhaps you could ask for and review some thoughtfully-written essays on the matter ... ? I'm working on one of my own right now, and I would be happy to submit it for your perusal.

I think people should stop submitting off-topic posts in the first place.

This is not just a male issue, it's a female issue, as well -- making it an issue that everybody should address.

Problem is how is something determined anti men or anti women? Often it’s men expressing their experiences with women like myself and those experiences gonagainst an ideal world someone else lives in(no women would do such a thing cause I don’t)
Imagine if every time a woman talks about how guys have harassed her or touched her some mra guy came in and said that’s sexist and no men would do such things and demand her post be removed. Would that be ok?
That’s how I feel I’m treated here, that my experiences are invalid , I’ve had feminist here tell me I’m crazy and making it all up. So I’m crazy or a liar.

The male hating thread are supported never removed, anything feminist decide is female hating is removed and user warned, it’s a clear bias. There’s also far more men on wrongplant then women. Would you still come here if it was just the women left?

In past I was corrected and told instead of saying women do ___ to say most women do blank and thst it wouldn’t be taken as generalization, but mod was wrong feminist decided most=all despite being two different words, is 75% 100%? Is 2/3 3/3 no they’re different things. Most isn’t all. Most is 75% or 2/3 or 3/4 so a lot or most is now same as saying all and thus a generation. But some doesn’t fit with how many women I’ve seen or experiences doing or thinking something and imagine and some will be called out by feminist as some=all. Feminist want to believe women do no wrong, so it’s not saying some most or a lot that matters, even saying 1 woman does wrong would upset them and be found sexist and offensive. I’ve tried to be politically correct as directed and had that found offensive by feminist here. I also am autistic with adhd. I have poor grammar and I make mistake, so I slip up and forget to put some or most before women sometimes, and I’d imagine everyone here by no onos that but rather then be like sly you messed up there I get called misogynistic creep sexist and demanded i be warned and banned. Feminist here just want me gone, my existence goes against their ideas.
Again I’m just a crazy liar. I never lie so I find that highly insulting and now we can’t ven share anything that supports our side or experiences as anything that doesn’t go along feminism is sexist and is allowed on wrongplant anymore.
We are effectively being silenced. If it was going other way I assure you feminist would be throwing a fit. Imagine if Alex and the mods were pro mra and slanted decisions that way and said any pro feminism studies wouldn’t be allowed.
For your knowledge I’ve neber ever said all women ever never not a single time. I was raised by my mom, grandma and older sister that’s it. Didn’t have a grandpa or dad, my uncles came around occasionally. I support equality. I get super sad hearing how women have been rape or molested, 95% of my close friends are women, I just don’t support feminism as in its current form it’s bad even th founders if feminism say it’s lost it’s ways. An equality organization is far better to be in. Feminist completed its goal then had nothing to do so started looking for stuff to find sexist. As one feminist says “everything is sexist” the pay gap has been disproven so many times. The only place it might still happen is executives and I don’t care if some female ceo is paid less then a male ceo. She still make way way way way more then most people. I don’t care abiut inequalaty between th rich elites, I don’t think any of them should make what they make.

Feminism has not nearly “completed its goal.” I really just can’t even go into how far off base that statement is, and I shouldn’t. This thread is about men’s issues. Let’s continue to talk about that.

You sidestepped. Do you or do you not think women are half to blame for how society says men should be? Or do you honestly think no women care and all women would date a man who goes against society’s male idea? Cause from my experience and what I’ve seen on social media a lot of women support toxic masculinity as you call it. I’m mostly told by women to be manly, don’t show emotions, don’t be weak, your not a real man etc. some men too, but it’s mostly been women who point out or tell me to be a man lik society says. And thus even if all men stopped supporting it it’s net zero result unless all women did too. Men want to be with women, as long as any high amount of women support toxic masculinity men will continue to strive to be thst so thy can get with a woman. If most women wanted femint men I can assure you mor men would strive to be mor feminit, they won’t want to be sexless and alone. Thus it’s a male and female issue that requires both to be solved not just men. But saying toxic masculinity seems to place the blame solely on men. And I’ve seen feminist here say it’s sold mensnfault and solely their responsibility to fix. But the demand in dating is mor for masculine men who fit that mold, so most men will strive to meet thst demand. I think the opposite is tru for toxic femininity(however that’s spelled, again I’m bad at spelling and grammar)
I don’t think we can change either until we except it’s a problem made by bother genders and can only be solved by both. Until then men like me will be seen as th shreks of the world and unwanted. I personally have learned to never share my emotions or concerns with women I date or maybe eventually get in relationship with. Which is a shame as I always wante and felt that a gf would be someone I could share everywith and be completely open with, sadly such closeness will be for my female friends only, unless likemother women said gf demands I cut ties with all female friends.

I'm guessing it's in response to the, "women don't care about men," comment, which was both sexist and inflammatory.

I can only speak for myself when I say that I don’t go for guys who are stereotypically masculine. I like men who can talk about their feelings and concerns. I would actually be uncomfortable with a man who was not open with me. It’s sexy when the man I’m with is open with me and is in touch with his feelings.

I have no idea what most women go for. I don’t have any female friends. I’d imagine quirky women would go for quirky men who defy common stereotypes.

Feminism in its purest form is the idea that women should have equal rights. Current feminists are often concerned with issues like domestic violence, consent education, and rape and sexual assault (especially on campuses and in relationships). These things certainly happen to men, but they’re more likely to happen to women. Clearly, it’s noble work. We aren’t a bunch of man haters.

I’ve had women tell me the same thing then when we dated tell me Doug so meant I lacked confidence.
I tried to date a friend once who always said I lacked lacked confidence then when I stopped sharing my emotions and stopped being open with her was like wow where’d this confidence come from. so confidence is never showing emotions and weakness. Most women here say most women want a confident guy and finds lack of confidence a huge turn off. So don’t show emotions or be open is the answer. It’s not confidence to be like.mi feel you don’t like me much anymore and that makes me sad.
It’s not confident to be upset about something that happen at work and want to tell her.

I’m sick of it. I’m not confident, I have emotions I have anxiety, I want to share both and be open. I’m submissive I don’t like to make decisions. All those are deemed as lacking confidence. I’m not a real man. I have very little non physical masculinity. My family raised me as they’d raise a girl. I was raised to express my emotions etc. I blame this along with being autistic for me being feminine. I’m the male version of Tom boy. I hate getting dirty, I don’t do risky stupid things, I prefer to have ,y problems listened to rather then solved,I’m very physical embracive?, I get super attached from sexual activities, and having sex is very emotional thing for me thst needs to be built up. I’d never have sex in first date like most guys seem to like. All which probably explains why for close friends I gravitate to women not men, but for activities I gravitate to men.
I wish society would just get rid of gender roles.

Quite a few of the feminist in high position are concerned with air conditioning in offices, men spreading the legs on buses, shutting down any men’s rights groups, and finding sexisim in anything and everything. Some have said dads are sexists cause women can’t be dads. Equalism is a better movement to be part of since it’s non gender biased.
The way feminist decide to handle college rape is wrong. Example that drunk guy ad girl who had sex both drunk, male got charged with rape, female didn’t. Technically legally they both raped each other since both were not able to give consent. So I say neither should be punished.

You may not but there’s feminist who hate me and even call for them to all be killed or castrated. I’d jump out of that sinking ship if I was you. Feminism has outlived it’s use. Non gender specific rights groups should be supported now. I’m not the biggest fan of mra but as long as feminism exist I want mra to exist to. Atleast they counter each other’s craziness. I’d rather fight for equality for everyone not just one gender or race.
