Let me start off, that I am not an anarchist or a radical or any kind. As there/aren't there any atheists/agnostics against the current neverending decline of our country/the world (As do you believe in the "New World Order"). As I believe that it has been happening for a long time (As if we don't stop it, bankers will control the world completely). As I have pretty much have mainly right wing views (Though I don't support our government, as they can't even monitor the country's $). As there really needs to have two new parties replace the current ones. As all the government is doing since "George Washington" rallied against big goverment and finsishing his term is just plain wrong. Also let me state that I am related to "Charles Carroll of Carrolltowne" (The last Declaration of Indpendence signer to die).

Regards,

Jeff

What I meant is I am not against obama,I see myself as a socalist so out of the two parties I find the democrats the poison I can handle where I see the republicans to be spouting nothing but nonsense.I cant stand the bankers or wealthy people mostly because I come from a blue collar family I hope its easier to understand.

Well that is understandable communism is the theorised evolution from a truly socialist state.

@ the OP please do not be fooled into thinking that the democrats are any less supporters of the big end of town than the republicans. The present admin has plundered the public purse to support the financial elite, whilst telling the rest that they will have to face austerity measures to pay for it. If, as you claim you are a socialist and not just another social democratic apologist for the capitalist system I suggest that you look with more analysis the actions of your so called "better poison". Closer examination of the role of the democrats will reveal to you that they are in fact the same 'poison'.

I'm not a fan of Obama, but I'm not a fan of anyone involved in the government. Idealism dies on the doorstep before entering I suppose.

Most people still assume most midwestern states are conservatives hence the joke.

But I think we're still in between in Missouri just like we were in the Civil War however seems Bush has even pissed off some of the conservatives.

Blue states: Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, Michigan, Illinois

Red States: Kansas, Nebraska, the Dakotas

Swing states: Missouri, Indiana, Ohio

Also note that some list Kentucky, Oklahoma, and West Virginia (all red states) as being in the Midwest, but I consider them to be southern states.

Because when there is only one source for anything, you are at the mercy of the provider of that substance.

Mandates to carry car insurance did not lower prices, it raised them because the insurance companies know they have a captive market. "Legal monopolies" for phone, power, cable, etc. does not improve the product because you have to be pretty bad at meeting the public need before the government takes away your business and lets a prospective competitor take over.

Competition provides incentive for a better product at a better price. Monopolies encourage status quo and lead to abuses by the one holding the monopoly.

Add to that the fact that government has failed to run any program cost-effectively or produce a better product than the private sector, and I cannot see how any sane person would entrust anything important to the government.

Agnostic, and I AM against Obama. I didn't expect much from him when he was elected, based on his voting record as a Senator (i.e. voting to give the telecom companies retroactive immunity for spying on Americans when Bush asked them to (and after he promised he'd never vote for such a thing), to extend the Patriot Act after denouncing it, and for supporting the bank bail-out), but I figured I'd give him a fair chance to make up for it as President. He blew it very quickly with me. >_< I'm in the very liberal New Jersey.

I could not bear to vote in the last election, the choices were so bad. I had no positive expectations from or about Lord Obama who is the spiritual God-son of the miserable Saul Ailinsky and has been mentored in politics Chicago style. He is very much in the thrall of old Mayor Daley in his values and methods. He is not the first president sympathetic to socialist goals and means. Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson and FDR (of course) were of that ilk.

The result is fascism, American Style.

But take heart! The nation survived Abraham Lincoln who was a tyrant and Ulysses Grant who was a nincompoop. Not to say anything of the unspeakable Jimmy Carter and the dreadful Dick Nixon.
