Maybe "tangential" or "disconnected" may be adequete descriptions. Regardless, the apologist isn't convincing me. In short, his reasoning is weak and based on way too many unstated assumptions.

His opponent is hyper-technical, I'll give you that, and has very few deep philosophical objections to the absurdity of Comfort's reasoning. Nonetheless, I think Comfort's out of his league.

Apologists usually are.

Depends on the apologist. William Llane Craig is usually considered an excellent debater. (not always right and not always convincing to atheist listeners, but that's not the issue at stake)

He was quite adept at rhetorically butchering Edward Tabash.

Great, you're going to make me listen to that one just so that way I can evaluate it.

I have heard that debate was also one of the better ones.

Correlation does not equal causation. It was clearly designed for the monkey hand, the fact humans can grasp it is merely incidental.

YES!! ! My evil anti-leftist plan is now being actualized!! BWA HA HA HA!!

It opened up fine on my computer though... weird. The website also doesn't have a lot of fancy graphics, just a picture of Craig, a background, a side bar, a top bar, a blog post with a number of links, and a comments section for the blog post. So, it isn't as if there is some evil and annoying graphic.

That was actually a reference to this pearl of logic from Ray Comfort. Check it out:

I think if Ray spent a little more time studying bananas, rather than playing with them, he would see how silly that is!

I already heard of that banal statement and it's refutation.

That was just more of my razor sharp, undeniably subtle, dry wit!

Two can play at that game!

Let me contact the best IT people represented by the Industrial Workers of the World I can find and then I'll...

On a serious note, I think I just had too many windows up at that moment.

So what's the deal with pineapples? Are we not supposed to eat those? And how about coconuts?

Nick Gisborne responded by holding a pineapple in front of a camera, and saying: "So, God. What were you thinking here?"

Note the "usually." It's still rather pathetic that a relatively well-known apologist is getting schooled by a YouTube personality who goes by the internet handle "thunderf00t."
