All in one place??? With people that are able to emotionally detach the same way I can to have a rational debate??? And people that actually CARE about this stuff and are open minded to hearing differing opinions?

Don't be too optimistic- we don't always stay so emotionally detached in here. Still, you can get some good, interesting debate on occasion.

that's the problem with discussions on these topics. either the participants agree with me or they're ignorant and i have to yell at them and plot their doom.

We're all ignorant. The problem is stupidity and that is incurable. No sense in yelling.
