I agree that Doctor's Without Borders is worthy. There are some lists of established organizations on the internet, but it was sad to read that pretty much all of them are having trouble getting the aid through to those who need it. Be aware that scammers can and will take advantage of human generosity, so take care who you give to.
Grading Aid topic
I have been following this news story for a few days, and in Haiti assistance is a logistical nightmare. Everyone has ideas about how to distribute the aid so far, and priority about saving people from entombment in wrecked buildings I think should be paramount. But what about the injured and homeless? Coordinated effort is what is needed and this takes some time. People are feeling guilty about neglecting Haiti for so long they do not know where to start with this newest disaster.
