Why the good guys win in the end!! !! !!
Ok I know to some of you this will sound like I'm an 'nutjob' but lets fase it if you are of a religionus frame of mind (like I am), you are onto a winner becouse no matter what evil stuff goes on and what crime goes unpunished (as it does often happen) you'll be happy in the knolage that in the end (that is after you die) GOOD WILL WIN!! !! !! !!
The reasoning should be known to you all, (if you don't mind I'll make use of Christion termilogey, but you'll find that if you are of most other faths you'll soon find that they all say this same message) if you are a good person, you get your reward in Heaven, and thus be happy and content forever (as God knows what everyone needs to make them satfived and will gladly give it them, no matter what is is) but if you are an evil person, you are sent to Hell, which I'm sure you'll know that there is no murcy of any kind down there only ever lasting pain.
May I add that I don't believe that you can go there just for commiting minor sins (as God will forgive them anyway even if you have forgotten about them, but if it makes you feel better asking for forgiveness for any sins that you have forgotten about is a good idea all the same) or even for being what's called an unbleaver, as most of them are good people, who just don't believe in God because the can't see Him, like I can see the keybourd of my PC as I type.
I even reacon that just as you 'die' (as you don't really 'die' as such as the soul is etueral although someday you will find yourself in a restrection body, but that's another matter) God will show Himself (via a telpatfic message) so that means that EVERYONE will be a believer before they die you'll only go to Hell if you (as a person) are evil in your heart, as sadly they are many, many so called 'Christions' who are going to Hell some day along with al the Neo Natzis, KKK members and the like.
For those who go to Heaven it will be so wonderful up there that no matter how much suffring you may or may now had have to put up with on Earth it would not matter as etunaty is a very long time after all... As I have said every wish will be granted no matter what it may be! It will be a perfect world, people will be unable to commit evil deeds, partly becaues all evil desires (contery to popuer belief sex is NOT one of them, as everyone who wish's to have one will have a perfect partner that they will never become bourd of) will be wiped from there minds. (This does ot mean that we won't have free will all this means is that we'd have been cured of the ilness that we call 'the desire to do evil') and no one will be temped to do evil due to the fact we'd have all the things we want anyway so it would be 'pointless' (as there is no real point to sin anyway) to steal (or whatever) from another.
I'm fully aware that this veiw is not shared by everyone and I'm fine with non Christions (you outnumber us anyway) the only thing that gets me upset is whenever a non Christion has problems in their lives (big ones that is as it happens to all of us) they think that if the 'baddies' (as I like to call anyone who does evil) don't get punshed in this world then that's the end of it!
The fact is even though (for reasons I've put above) I'm sure many of them will enter Heaven anyway, I feel sorry for them in this life.
You don't have to believe my simple message, but if you do then I'm happy for you.
Goodbye till next time

So only people like KKK and the NAZI's are going to Hell? What I'd like to know is who YOU are that you have authority to say who is going to Hell and who is going to Heaven.
I've never PERSONALLY known someone who was open (with me, anyway) about Klan membership, though there are plenty of those guys around where I'm from. What I DO know about the Klan is that they believe they are Christian and that their behavior is supported Biblically. Not that I support their views, but the Bible does say that Jews (as God's people) are FORBIDDEN to intermarry with foreigners (non-Jews). The Klan take that a step further, despite the fact these old laws were not intended for Gentiles and especially not Christians--not to mention "miscegenation" is dated and culturally irrelevant--to mean that various races should NEVER mix AT ALL. It would appear, then, that the Klan are correct in trying to protect the purity of the white race and are only trying to be good people. So what if a few people (Catholics, Jews, blacks, homersekshuls) get hurt along the way? It's justified if it's warfare, and we ARE at WAR with the ENEMY...
See my point? Ditto for the Nazis. They weren't trying to conquer Europe. They just wanted a little "lebensraum" for the German people. And those Jews, Poles, Slavs, and Gypsies have been annoying us for centuries. We don't care where you go, you just got to get the hell outta HIER.
What you have to understand is that to those people, killing a few million people is just a minor consequence of accomplishing something for the greater good. So what if you have to sacrifice all your men and youth for the cause of war? It's just part of the price we have to pay for freedom! Looking at the big picture, if it IS a sin at all, it is only a very minor one that you can just forget when the war is over. And when you are too old to be useful to society, you just go down to the euthanasia clinic like all good German undesirables and you'll finally get to meet God face-to-face, and He will reward you for all the "good" you have done.
Something within us tells us these things are wrong. When WWII ended, the spell that Hitler had over his people was broken and MOST people quickly came to realize how terribly wrong things had gone. The death camps had virtually been in someone's backyard, and these people had NO CLUE what was really going on! So would it be fair for God to send the SS guys to Hell because they were obeying orders? What about the German people who benefitted from Hitler's programs? Should they go to Hell, too?
What about sin itself? Is there really such a thing as a minor sin? We seem to rank sin according to its consequences--murderers should not be allowed to live, but any other infraction can basically be satisfied by returning it in kind. If you steal something from someone, give it back plus some money for the use you got out of it, or offer to buy it from that person outright. Commit adultery (any premarital sex)? Marry the poor girl/boy. Making things right MIGHT erase the sin in the eyes of the person the sin is committed against. But it does NOT satisfy God's wrath. Only an atoning sacrifice may do so.
Boosterjones: I don't think you're a nutjob at all. However, I DO think you should re-evaluate your own theology. Doing good in this life is not enough for the next life, especially when we can't all agree on what that good is. Only God can set the standard of good/evil, right/wrong, and being confident in our faith in Him and in our acceptance of Jesus as God's own sacrifice for us, we CAN live according to our conscience assured that what we do is right, good, just, merciful, and motivated by God's love for us all. No amount of evil, past, present, or future, can ever keep the believer from God's presence, no matter how small/great the sin.
The most important part.

Thanks for your answers as they were all very well thought out and I'll keep your thoughts in mind.
However one should bear in mind that I was only giving a very genarel overview of sin when I said ''minor sin'' as while it may be true that there is probuly no such thing as a ''minor sin'' in God's eyes one should remember that most evil things don't warrant getting sent to Hell.
Also as for the KKK and the Natzi's (and the like) yes it is true that many of them were only doing what they believed was right (or in the case of the Natzi's following orders) but although, yes it may be true that they did evil stuff they can also be forgiven, as even if you are say (and I know that I'm not going to win all that many friends by my saying this, but I'll say it anyway) the kids who killed Jamie Bulger (who are both evil muderers) you'll find that (if you think about it) they have just as much right to be forgiven as you or me.
It's very unlikely (and my darker side hopes that they would, so therefore they'd still go to Hell) that they would turn to God but it posible.
I hope that this has made things a little clearer fo you all.
Goodbye till next time
It's not following orders; they believed what they were doing was right, too. They believed the horrific crimes they were committing were in the best interests of their nation. It's very similar to what's going on now with the Muslims (the new Jews). Muslims are kidnapped (rendition) and tortured sometimes without any cause other than a vague suspicion based on an unlucky lottery of key words or a six-degrees association that makes them a person of interest. They're not given any right to habeas corpus. They're moved to third world countries where we can torture them safely without a direct association to the USA. And this is all done in the name of the illusory war on terrorism and striving for a safety that never existed and gets more distant as we pursue such actions more and more.
Don't believe the following orders stuff. They believe that what they're doing is right and has to be done. A bit of the Milgram experiment and a bit of effective propaganda. It's what the nazis did and it's what's happening now.

That's true as history does always repeat it's self, surely if you think about it they must have been some Jews that were evil and so deserved to die!! !! !
Also if you think about it quite a few of the buisnss CEO's got their just desurts on 9/11. Even though that said however they still are some evil Muslims about, just as they are evil Christions and evil Hudus and evil non religions people about.
I hope you understand however that I don't think that it was good that insents were killed also, I'm only saying that sometimes evildoers have a habbit of slaying other evildoers.
May I add however that I think that the ENTIRE govenments of the USA and UK will burn in Hell for their sin's, although the may be also some which are good (but sadly have little or no power)
Every sinner (as in evil person) no matter who he/she is who does not repent will have this happen to them.
Good thing that the CIA (and the like) is unlikely to take any interest in this site ehh??
Goodbye Till Next Time
Who's to say that anyone here is who they say they are? Considering the level of dedication and obsession that people here tend to take with stuff, I'd say it's probably a safe bet to say that this site probably gets checked up every once in a while. Certainly the key words to draw attention come up here enough.

Good Point still, if I got court by a group like that I'd kill (not by blowing myself up however) myself first (and ask for forgiveness as I die from my wounds) so that I'd go to Heaven and they'd be left with a dead body.
If need be I'd advise you do the same but ONLY if their is no other way out.

Indeed! Now just suppose in Satan's revolt against God that Satan had won. He obviously was a very sharp character and would not have revolted unless he thought he had a pretty good chance of winning. So if he had won he no doubt he would have sent God to hell to shovel coal. And if he had won it was he who wrote the Bible and that's why the world is so screwed up and full of evil. It's really the devil in charge. Seems very possible. Actually, pretty likely.
I agree with that, but you forgot to mention that he took over the church too which would explain why religion looks so silly and so few people are resisting him.

Just a minor point. As far as I know, adultery is defined extramarital sex. In other words, having sex with a mistress when you are married to someone else. Premarital sex is actually called fornication and is not the same as adultery by strict definition.

Adultery as is defined in the Bible is inclusive of ALL extramarital sex--to include fornication as well as sex with someone else's spouse as well as slaves and prostitutes. Penalties for "stealing" sex slaves seem to be a lot less severe than as with sex with a married woman. Sex with a virgin who isn't promised to another is remedied by marriage and paying a fine, but the ultimate penalty might be more severe than death: The man forfeits his right to a divorce!! !
The main point here is that sex is NOT the high crime some more extreme followers of fundamentalist Christianity make it out to be. It's clear that God intended for human beings to enjoy sex, although the only proper context for this is within the boundaries of monogamous, sworn, permanent relationships.

The winner writes the history books so their side is always right. It's not that one side is always right or always wrong, it's just that people are stupid enough to buy into such basic dualisms as if it could actually exist in reality.

Nowhere in the Bible is it said that sex is for procreation ONLY. There HAVE been various Christian or pseudo-Christian sects that have taught that at various times, but it is not a Biblically-supported doctrine. I can't think of any groups specifically at the moment, but I am aware that there have been those who forbade the female orgasm and thus any pleasure found in sex. The male orgasm is a "necessary evil" in that view. Procreation from a purely Biblical standpoint is not the exclusive end of acceptable sexual practice.
Biblical teaching concerning sex is more oriented towards the spiritual welfare of the believer. The FIRST commandment God gave all of creation is "Be fruitful and multiply." So obviously reproduction is something that God intended. There is NO commandment that states that pleasure cannot be taken in the process of conceiving children. We also know from the account of Abraham and Sarah (and others) that reproduction for some people does not happen, nor is it even possible for some. Does the Bible say that any harm would come to those who continue sexual activity in spite of their ability to produce children? Well, I've been reading through the Bible for over a year now, and I've gotten as far as Isaiah at the moment. If nothing has been said in regards to those who are unable to conceive children and continue with sex as a purely pleasurable activity, I doubt anything will ever BE said. Sex within the confines of marriage, both for reproductive and pleasurable purposes, is perfectly acceptable.
What the Bible ALSO says regarding sexual immorality is that if a man fears any risk of divorce from a woman, with adultery being the only acceptable grounds for divorce, then it is better for that man not to marry at all. Paul said that he felt it actually better not to marry at all, effectively living a life of complete celibacy. But he also said it was better to marry and satisfy sexual urges in a proper (married) sexual relationship rather than burn living out an immoral lifestyle. Here the emphasis is not on reproduction, but sex as a pleasurable act. So obviously sex was NOT intended solely as an act of "being fruitful," but rather of also fostering spiritual, emotional, and physical bonds between married partners.
