In my desperation of finding a place to fit in, I've considered going church to help find support. I don't mean clothing, food, or shelter, but people to talk to and possibly connect with someone. Even though I'm really asocial, I really need to find people to connect with, I need someone to bring me out of my funk. I'm not considering any church, but I was considering Crossroads. I don't know if anyone is familiar with this organization, but it's not really a church in the common sense but, I guess a church with modern ideas at the helm. They are supposedly good at getting people with like interests together, but this is just what I heard. Would anyone consider this? Good idea? Yea or nay?

There are a few churches called Crossroads. If you are thinking of the one in Corona, California, they are supposed to be pretty good. I think they are even one if the few churches that have a special needs ministry (at least for kids).
