Pertaining to the WP PPR Mock Congress, I am running for Leader of the Tax-and-Spend Caucus, which I intend to rename immediately to the Progressive Caucus. I also intend to redefine its agenda in a more positive, less polemical note. I want to make the Progressive Caucus a comfortable home for philosophically bent aspies from the center to the anarchist and socialist left, whether religious or atheist. I intend for the Progressive Caucus to include social liberals and civil libertarians, social democrats, progressives, libertarian socialists, liberal Christians, liberal Jews, and so forth.
If anyone wants to caucus here, please speak up, and if you'd also like to run for the leadership position, please say so.
