Curious on this because I see where we argue a lot here between supply side and Keynesianism, tax cuts to the rich vs. possibly reverse-taxation to the poor. I'm sure not all of the industries out there have the same multiplier - ie. product A, dollar per dollar purchased, creates fewer jobs than product B dollar per dollar. Product C creates, dollar per dollar purchased, better quality or higher income jobs than product D, dollar per dollar purchased. Does anyone know of an online index of that sort of thing that you find to be trustworthy in its calculations?
What you're looking for is basically an index of Keynesian multipliers for various possible uses of money. I don't know of a good source off the top of my head, but I'm sure you could look around Google and find it. The government probably maintains some statistics on the subject.
