I'm sure people know about how Jean-Claude Duvalier, Haiti's President-for-Life from 1971 to 1986, has returned to Haiti, and many people are confused about the reasons for this. The main reason is very simple. Right now there is a fake election process taking place in Haiti under U.S. control. As it's a farce there was a 22% turnout of registered voters and there was ballot-stuffing and ballots thrown about on the ground. Right now there's a dispute over who will face whom in the runoff vote to determine who will have the fine luxury of serving as President under foreign occupation. Both candidates that the U.S. says must contest the runoff election are confirmed Duvalierists. As soon as the U.S. made it clear that the next President of Haiti would be a Duvalierist, then what could be more natural for the Man Himself to return to savour his triumph?
