Him and his soulless, ghoulish and mannequin-esque stepford wives, his whore-of-Babylon daughter and everything these rancid swine represent are "people"/things that I truly have infinite and undying contempt for. Now this absurd and monstrously sociopathic goldfish with the televangelist do' wants to be president!?!?!?!?!?! Well...this noisome maggot may be a brilliant "businessman", (the same sort of people Jesus rightfully referred to as "thieves" when he booted their sorry butts out of the temple but it would seem as though his long-term memory is in decline as of late. My own, OTOH.....is not. You see....I clearly remember Trump's remarks on the abortion issue which were made several years ago on ABC's "20/20". He claimed that while he "doesn't like" abortion....he felt women should have legal right to have one. Predictably enough, his position has since changed to a staunch "prolife" one. I suppose that couldn't POSSIBLY have ANYTHING to do with the fact that he's running as a repugnican eh??? Like the good little "con-servative" politician he aspires to be....Trump is both intellligent and cynical enough to know he MUST shamelessly pander to the mouth-breeding religious yahoos in the "red-states" who incessantly oink about the "evils" of abortion. When I contemplate upon the obvious fact that MILLIONS of my fellow Americans are intellectually challenged enough (after all...EVEN the mouth-breeding religious yahoos have an IQ above 70....sometimes.....LOL to buy this scumbag's bill of goods...i'm simply staggered!! !

I'm not sure. Isn't he a property tycoon? It would appear to me that most fortunes made in property are from rent-seeking rather than genuine hardwork and profiteering. I couldn't comment on Trump though

I think he's a good entertainer and self promoter. He's pretty much a liberal who is against the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan but that's better than a lot of your typical neocons. I wouldn't vote for him and I still don't really buy that he's running for president. Him being a Tea Party guy is pretty laughable tho, he supports single payer. Maybe he'll try to run as a third party candidate if he really does end up running since he has the money to self finance and get noticed. He has ran for president before tho and that didn't do much for him. I think he just wants to hype his TV show up.

Donald Trump is a shameless self-promoter who lacks the gravitas for the presidency. The Right sees a successful businessman; yes, he succeeded in a narrow domain, but I'd shudder to think that plastering TRUMP on everything and hosting Celebrity Apprentice qualifies him for the nation's highest office. I guess some religious conservatives back him because he values the institution of marriage so much, he did it thrice (or whatever it is now) or so that they could point to him and tell their kids what not to do.

Well, he knows how to manage money and he has a commanding presence. He would probably be effective in foreign policy and finance. Would any corporate buddies get kickbacks? Probably, but that's not anything that isn't rampant currently. I could tolerate corporations getting kickbacks as long as he was making jobs (improving living standards may have to wait a while other than getting people something for a steady source if income) and not driving up debt.

Well, his heart is in the right place, at least, and that's more than can be said for the guy currently in the office, who grew up among communists, being mentored by pedophiles (Frank Davis) and left wing terrorists (Bill Ayers) and who spent much of his childhood outside the US entirely, where he absorbed anti-American sentiment. In short, Obama hates America, and somebody like that is bad news as president of the country which he hates.

Trump at least loves America. That's a big plus right there. He is a peer of the bankers, so he can stand up to them. I think Trump would be a crappy diplomat, but so is Obama. Trump himself says that he doesn't really want the job, but is running because nobody else is stepping forward, the guys in the running are weaklings (which is true), and the country is practically run for the benefit of a handful of bankers who have exported all our jobs and ruined the country.

If he doesn't run, who would the Republicans put up against Obama? Romney? Huckabee? Sarah Palin, may god help us? Palin would be flattened by Obama. Obama is a terrible president, yet will win a second term because nobody else wants the office? Do we really want this guy to follow through on his plans to become "President for life"?

Trump spent the better part of the late 80s, 90s and early 2000s in legal trouble for his irresponsible fiscal choices. Definitely not a good choice. Then again, America elected Dubya

He's a thief that now wears a clown suit. He made his money leaching off of others through gambling and renting properties. His "empire" was built on the skills of others (including inheriting his father's rental company).

He's another person who had his riches handed to him rather than earning it.
