Bernie Goldberg a Fox "news analyst" and a member of my tribe.
Recommends calling liberals racists when he admit that he knows it is not true.
The reason cited "because they think they are morally superior".
Well Bernie there may be some reasons for that

Clip from Daily Show

I don't see the racism. He treated Cain's voice the same way he treated Pawlenty's.

What's Inuyasha going to do, if Jake is now our source for updates from Fox News?

I thought he'd be all over this like white on rice.

I haven't been able to keep up wit the news this week, but it sounds like he is out to be more antagonistic than spread rumors.

Why do I get the feeling that you are taking him out of context and he was mocking liberals for making stuff up and spamming the race card all the time.

Answer: Because that is what he was doing, and certain individuals here proved his point, congratulations.

Who? Bernie? I didn't think that Fox News was capable of satire.

Nor do Fox News listeners possess the intellectual capacity to understand satire.

I posted the link to the entire article little buddy.
so its not out of . . . context. :?
but it does show that trolly behavior is actually the plan for the fox news crowd.

Actually, you did quote it out of context.

Let’s say a white guy goes on television, puts on an exaggerated "Amos ‘n Andy" “black voice” and proceeds to make fun of a black man whose politics the white guy doesn’t like. Actually, let’s say he goes beyond merely making fun of the black man. Let’s say he tries to make the black man sound downright stupid. Does that make the white guy a racist?

The correct answer is … it depends.

If the white guy is Rush Limbaugh and the black man is Barack Obama, then of course the white guy is a racist – according to liberals.

But if the white guy is Jon Stewart and the black man is Herman Cain, the conservative businessman seeking the Republican nomination for president, well, then, that’s another story.

The other night Jon Stewart went on his show, and while he didn’t put on blackface makeup and start tap dancing he did put on a “black voice” and proceeded to mock Mr. Cain in a way that would never be tolerated if a conservative had done it.

Yet liberals didn’t scream “racist” the way they do when they see a tea party rally or when a conservative so much as looks askance at Barack Obama. Instead, they laughed. They thought it was a regular riot that a genius like Jon Stewart made that conservative black guy sound like a dumb character in a minstrel show.

But why isn’t Jon Stewart a bigot, when Limbaugh and Hannity and O’Reilly would be tagged as racists if they had done the very same thing? That’s easy. Because Jon Stewart is a liberal and liberals aren’t racists. Only conservatives are.

And if you don’t believe me, just ask any liberal.

Yes, this is really, really dumb, but liberals really, really believe it. It stems from a deeply held belief that liberals are not just right about the issues and conservatives just wrong. It goes way beyond that. Liberals believe they’re morally superior to conservatives. And morally superior people are never racists. Racism is the domain of morally inferior people -- conservatives.

He is pointing out the blatent double standard, if Rush had done what Jon Stewart had done, he would be excoriated and demands would come pouring in to fire him, yet Jon Stewart gets a free pass.

That's a very good point indeed. So, Inuyasha won't be playing the Race Card after all?

I am a regular watcher of The Daily Show, and I can say with all truth and honesty that Jon Stewart was not ridiculing Hermann Cain for being black, but for being a cretin. He imitated Cain's voice solely for the sake of mimicry, not to ridicule Cain's race.
The fact of the matter is, everyone knows Jon Stewart is not a racist. Rather, he slams people for their stupidity or heartlessness. Goldberg and his friends at Fox are just vindictively taking tit-for-tat jabs at him for his politics.

Yet people call Rush Limbaugh a racist for exoriating Barack Obama, Bernie Goldberg was pointing out the double standard, he was not suggesting Jon Stewart was actually a racist.

No, he actually called Stewart a racist. Stewart played the clip on his show.
As for right wingers imitating Obama; well, there's a huge difference between Stewart making fun of Hermann Cain for his loony ideas, and for right wingers ridiculing the president for his blackness.

What an idiot. A person who believes they are morally or intellectually superior to everybody else isn't a racist--that's called an elitist.

Intellectual elitist? Hey, I've been told I resemble that remark!
