the people who are acting like jerks see themselves as the lone white knights defending honor from the depredations of all the other jerky people.

But seriously folks.
When my lovely sister was diagnosed with the OCD it did not give her licence to be a fussbudget but . . .
when she says she has to leave right now we accommodate her.

so in a like manner folks with he nerd flu (assburgers) should be accommodated or at least understood
as not being intentionally jerky when they(we) do stuff that is not intended that way.
and be nailed to the wall when we do intend to be jerks (just like everybody else).

And more importantly, does a jerk even care about applying for a license to begin with? He's a jerk after all and will likely tell the issuer to f*** off if approached.

And - maybe I have interacted with the wrong people, but are the spectrals by any objective standard more jerky than the mass?

Arguably less gang-jerky and so less socially acceptably jerky.

If you want to avoid jerks, find an alternative planet.

You must have Asperger's confused with Narcissistic Personality Disorder.

I have never met anyone who had a NPD who wasn't also a total jerk.

However, I suspect that people with a NPD do feel utterly entitled to be jerks, with or without a specific jerk license.
