I am a Theist, yet I know that there is no possible way that I can prove that God exists.
I believe that a baby was born in Bethlehem, was named Jesus (or Immanuel), grew to be a man, took up an itinerant ministry, preached for peace and fellowship, preached against religious hypocrisy, was framed by the religious leaders for crimes he did not commit, was crucified by the occupying Roman army, and was buried the same day of His death.
I also believe that maybe some of the rest of the stories about this man Jesus were at least partially made up (if not fully exaggerated) by His followers.
I do wish there was some way to settle this whole "Jesus Thing" once and for all, and to one side's favor or the other. A miracle or two would be nice ...
As for me and my house, we try to do the most good, for the most people we meet, and as often as possible.
