main part is :35-6:25

It says that inside the equations used within string theory, they are finding computer codes. In binary, similar to what you would find in error checking codes that make sure that the message you sent made it to the destination intact.

It's still very theoretical, and may turn out to be completely untrue, but it's definitely a fascinating idea to think about.

So the universe is made out of sku numbers complete with check digits- just like the ones on the store merchandise that I scan all day for a living for an inventory company.

The universe is just one big grocery checkout line!

It boggles the mind!

Even if string theory is correct, and if it does contain mathematical structures first studied in Information Theory for which the currently known applications are error correction in data streams, it doesn't follow that "nature" requires nor is using these structures for error correction. Sounds like BS, it really doesn't matter either way if it's true since it can't be proven at present, so all it can really do is provoke an ignorant person into insanity... This kind of stuff should be banned. But that might not happen until we can outpopulate religion.

Look at the clouds sometime. Do you see all those wonderful figures in the clouds? Chickens, bunnies, lions, women with big boobs?

Another question is: Does real life seem like a computer program, or are our computer programs starting to look like how (at least part of) life works? It wouldn't be the first time one of our technological creations ended up looking a lot like something from the natural world. If you look at a map of the internet, it also looks a lot like how our brain is wired together which also resembles the universe itself.
