Should the rest of the world adopt Islam's view of the inequality of women?

Pickthall4:34
"Men are in charge of women, because Allah hath made the one of them to excel the other,

Every moral legal system I know of in the West and most of the non-Islamic world begins with equality for all.

Should the rest of the world adopt Islam's view of the inequality of women?

Check the value of a Muslim woman, according to some Muslim men, at the 8 min. mark.

The main impetus for the question was the present immigration crisis in the E. U. and the fact that Islam is growing in power and influence all over the free world and if we do not bring it to heel, our women and cultures will lose the equality of the sexes.
Most of what I want to have you here other than what I answer to posts is in these two links.

Meh, it ain't that different from the christian version.

In genisis, eve is created out of adams' rib to ensure her obedience (since she was "of his flesh"), explicitly performed after lillith (adams first wife) didn't obey adam well enough.

note, i do not mean to imply that i agree with this sentiment, but i posted this simply to show that we should treat their 'divine rules' the same way we do with our own.

Women and men have the same rights to life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness, free speech, free press, the bearing of arms, the exercise of religious beliefs (except when it conflicts with secular law), education, health care, housing, employment ... and every other right as expressed or implied in the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution and the Bill of rights.

Religions were established to ordain and maintain a status quo of slavery, subjugation of women and foreigners, and imperialism by genocide.

Abolish religion.

If only I could.

Those rights you show do not apply to Muslim women even in the U.S. although I do hear that many have assimilated quite nicely.

We will have to see what happens in Detroit.
